Hello everyone!

I made this addon a little while back and have been wanting to share. This is a hud that shows your current FMs in large lettering, as well as your Flourish II/III recasts.

The flowers go somewhat translucent when you're waiting on cooldown. The large flower is for Flourishes III, and the small for II.




I'm new to lua and to github so feel free to leave feedback of any kind!

PUP could use a similar add on for a better visual cue on when it’s Automaton abilities will be ready. Could that be doable?

Yes! So the other place I've planned is for GEO. I want a large bubble looking thing for when I have a bubble alive, and some kind of meter to show its hp.

Edit: Which abilities were you thinking? Repair specifically?

For the Automaton abilities like Flashbulb, Shield Bash and Strobe. Knowing exactly when they are about to be used by the Automaton will help a PUP get into Enmity gear in time.

Some ideas for future HuDs, for jobs which would really benefit from them.

Scholar

  • Shows whether Light or Dark Arts are Active (book color changes).

  • Shows if Addendum is active (outline of book glows gold or red)

  • Shows number of stratagems available (could be in the middle of the book)



Puppetmaster

  • Shows overload rate on active manuevers.

  • Shows Automaton HP/MP/TP.

  • Shows the reuse timers of Automaton specific abilities depending on its frame (Shield Bash, Strobe, Flashbulb, Disruptor, Regulator etc). This could be difficult to do, but if you're up for a challenge.



Red Mage

  • Shows the duration of Enfeebling Magic cast on the target. Pretty sure there's a function that does this already but having it in a HuD would be neat.



Just a few thoughts. Very impressed with what you've done here.

The whole thing started when I wanted to make something similar to the SCH idea you described. I wanted a simple visual that would let me know if Saber Dance or Fan Dance were active, and a bright colored outline if Flourishes3 was ready.

In regards to PUP, I have a PUP alt and use the gs made by the forum user Arrchie which has some of this functionality. There's definitely some cool visuals that could be done for PUP though.

Yup this is easily customizable with a little effort.

My personal opinion on the size - it was designed to fill a certain space on my screen:



Partybuffs sits under the equipviewer, and I'm quite happy with my layout.

This is great. Its the timers plugin but more customized and easier on the eyes(if playing a mage job, you can easily get overwhelmed with all the recasts and duration spells going around on screen. Giant wall of bars). Good work.

What's the easiest way to customize the size of it, literlaly just changing the resolution on the PNGs, or is there an easier way to scale it? Is there some way to adjust the positioning easily, as well?

Find the xy values for the flower, stem, for each. Then you will have to keep playing with it to get the sizing to your liking. //Lua l addon
Check the positioning and repeat process.

I had an issue with the size of this addon and tried playing around with it and will eventually get it later. You do have to resize every piece individually, so it takes a while to get the stems and flowers to all line up correctly but that's how I adjusted it.

Funny you said this, I had the exact same thought and worked up an addon for SCH that I am in the testing phase with. Then I saw your comment here!

Sorry for the necro bump, but just wanted to share that I added a rudimentary scaling solution for resizing the HUD to your taste. It's such a nice addon so wanted to give it some love. Hope it works well for everyone!

I have it forked here if anyone wants to try it out, but created a PR to get it into Kwech's repo.
