Feelings On /COR For BRD?

I just picked up BRD again after a break from leveling it. Not very far yet, only 23, but as I played I wondered why don't more BRDs go /COR?

Not saying for everything, but it seems like it could be a decent SJ for certain party setups/situations...like if you were going the pure support route and healing is already covered...obviously not in imp parties or anything like that, but I had a party earlier in qufim where we had a cor and I was brd/cor- thus stacking two songs and three rolls- it was very fun.

Maybe for lower levels like Valk/Qufim, but it's really not all that practical.

I tried BRD/COR in a merit party once and the rolls were so weak there was no point.

With the limited range of rolls available at the lower levels, this pointlessness seems even more apparent. As a subjob, Corsair's roll will give you HARDLY any experience at all; whereas subbing /WHM may actually provide usefulness (I remember when I levelled BRD I was casting the barspells in most of my parties).

Fun to play around with no doubt, though.
