I don't know what tune you expect to change. "We're doing everything we can, don't panic," is pretty much standard operating procedure. The death of a high-risk patient isn't going to change anything.

I'm sure Trump will send his "thoughts and prayers."

First American just died from it in Washington state. Trump has another presser scheduled in a few minutes, wonder if that death will change his tune. No idea what he was gonna say in the first place.

In almost all cases, it was true, Bush actually was a horrible President that left office with what, 29% job approval and the Great Recession?

In today's case, Trump is lying, and you can't deny it.

The entire point is eluding you. Yes, Bush was at fault at the time, BUT...this thread is about Trump. Focus.

Trump denies official coronavirus death rate based on his 'hunch' and suggests people with deadly virus can go to work

President suggests hundreds of thousands could recover from potentially fatal virus 'just by sitting around'

Independent UK

Quote:
Donald Trump has denied the official global death rate for coronavirus reported by health experts because he has a “hunch” it is lower.

The president described the 3.4 per cent global death rate given by the World Health Organisation (WHO) on Tuesday as a “false number” in an interview with Fox News’ Sean Hannity and gave medical advice which contradicted his public health experts....

Technically it is a false number because there is not 100% reporting, and some people do get over it without realizing they have it and/or never getting treated or tested.

This is just another issue where Trump isn’t necessarily wrong, but people just don’t like the way he says things.

Funny how they didn’t give the exact quote for that and left it open to the imagination. He never said it was okay to go to work with the coronavirus. He implied that, in the context of unreported cases, people have lived normal lives (including going to work) and have recovered anyway.

It amazes me that people still take his off-the-cuff remarks either 100% literally or twist his words to mean something else entirely when the frickin’ verbatim quotes are available that debunk the claims immediately.

Now. should the president be postulating and theorizing on national television? Probably not, but that’s how the criticism should be targeted, not inventing crap to use against him.

No way, a terrorist organization has no intention of abiding by a fake peace deal and has carried out attacks every day since they signed said fake deal? Who would have thought!

And yet, at no point during the time the deal was in place was Iran developing nukes. Imagine that. They aren't breaking the deal.
