Looks like Biden finally decided on his pick for a job based on their race and gender. Glad to see he doesn't bow down to social media, that would come off as weak, he's going to be a good one.

When I saw that announcement I was just like..they have had a pretty normal relationship for decades, they certainly are not fighting each other, so what peace is Trump even talking about? Then I looked into what the UAE was saying and all it is is they got Israel to once again postpone annexations in the West Bank. Thats all anyone cares about. Don't annex the lands and you can keep being a country.

The most telling part is the fact the blatantly bigoted Islamic nations like Turkey and Iran threw a fit that a predominately but more advanced Islamic nation like the UAE dared to not just scream, "zionist pigs should die!" at Israel and instead, literally opened up lines of communication.

Huh, about 30 or 40 sites for this one but no fox news.

Quote:
A sprawling report released Tuesday by a Republican-controlled Senate panel that spent three years investigating Russia’s 2016 election interference laid out an extensive web of contacts between Trump campaign advisers and Russian government officials and other Russians, including some with ties to the country’s intelligence services.

The report by the Senate Intelligence Committee, totaling nearly 1,000 pages, provided a bipartisan Senate imprimatur for an extraordinary set of facts: The Russian government undertook an extensive campaign to try to sabotage the 2016 American election to help Mr. Trump become president, and some members of Mr. Trump’s circle of advisers were open to the help from an American adversary.

No one is clinging to any "Mah Russia" hopes, that is absurd. Did you read the report or understand its intended purpose? Yes, one of the things being investigated was if Trump orchestrated the Russian interference and as we all know, there was no evidence that found him guilty nor any that exonerated him.

What the Mueller Report did conclude was that Russia did in fact interfere in our 2016 election. So instead of denigrating the report with childish terms, I think the focus needs to be on how to prevent the interference from happening in the future.

Um, okay. I'm not sure what any of that has to do with my comment, but keep churning out non-sequitur responses if it makes you feel better. We knew that Russia had interfered LONG before the Mueller report came out, and this is a case where exoneration is impossible by the nature of the accusation, so I'm not sure why that was even brought up.

Ah, yes. One of those crimes nobody ever cares about when it's someone on their side, but nevertheless happens more frequently on both sides than anyone would like to admit.

That is the most predictable response. You have no clue of our ethics, you have no clue about who we support. What WE know is that by making such a cliche' statement, you reveal that YOU only care when its someone not on YOUR side.

I am sorry but the head of the SENATE Intelligence Committee happens to be a republican, Richard Burr. He cared.

Good for him. There are people out there who care about equal application of the law. Now if he can just go back and review all the other statements made over the course of the investigation that turned out to be lies and prosecute those people, then we'll be in good shape.

He did and the committee did as well.

Neither the chairman nor the committee as a whole can prosecute anybody. They referred the liars to the DoJ for prosecution.

Reminds me of a Vice article I read from 2016 where they went into detail of why Clinton's lies under oath don't qualify as perjury. The same could apply here, as well as the many other lies that have been told to Congress over the course if the Mueller and other investigations. Hardly any of them ever get taken to task, so it seems a little disingenuous to claim that these particular guys deserve the punishment when nobody else got it.
