It's like you ****ers can't read past the bold. They very clearly stated the only bans to have gone out this far are people who did it in the last couple of weeks using Aurix specifically. They also very clearly stated they are still widening the scope to other NPCs and further back. An investigation of this magnitude takes time.

yeah, no haste. leave the other NPCs active in the meantime. everything to ensure RMTs have enough time to launder/sell the last piece of gil on their mules.

I don't know if this was misunderstood, but the exploit cannot be used anywhere at this point in time. It could be used from the time they pulled Aurix until the time the emergency maintenance happened, but that was all of a day and a half. Never mind that it gave them easy and recent evidence to catch people who ran to the next best NPC immediately.. it could have been intentional.
