Ajido over the others, he dispels almost instantly when the spikes go up. BLU is safer than MNK imo, but you can try whichever you feel more comfortable with.

My MNK is very welled geared but i see 0-1 TP move before she’s dead. (Full time impetus,footwork,zerk) That includes a little THF TP feed but it’s close to negated by absorbTP. I’ve done a few on BLU but it’s been a long time. I’ll try again but it’s less DPS and more TP feed. The only challenge in this fight is her FU TP moves and MNK can straight ignore them.

I would think MNK is way safer then blu. But really either should be able to solo E

I think people are too hard onto that MNK bandwagon. How is it less DPS when you aren't even haste capped in your setup? Haste2 plus March. It’s a 25ish second fight from engaged with 0-1 TP moves.
My BLU is exceptionally well geared and I’m confident it can’t touch that speed or safety. MNK with impetus,focus,zerk and footwork up is near the top of the DPS chain. Yet people are saying BLU doesn't need an update! Couldn't find a more perfect example in that with this.
Blu might need a few tweaks, but it won't ever be able to kill Lilith as fast as Monk or Sam. That's not a bad thing for Blu.
It is the most perfect example, a job like MNK with all that dmg capability and able to withstand anything and having the fastest clear time. What downside is there? Its completely broken. Please explain how that isn't a bad thing for BLU? lol It's the literal definition as there is 0 reason to take or use any other job.
That doesn't just apply to soloing an easy fight like E Lilith. I've posted a video earlier in this thread of me soloing it on BLU quite fast and safe. We're talking in all content there is becoming less and less reason to use a BLU when you can just use one of the broken overpowered jobs like MNK currently is. They went overboard with their updates and now it is time to update BLU. I can also do a full Omen clear in 16 minutes on BLU, I can't do that on DRK. I think DRK needs a buff because of that.

It's exactly like the argument you brought up. Job A does something faster than Job B so Job B needs a buff.

No it isn't, its in two completely different contexts. AOEing trash mobs doesn't automatically mean a job doesn't need updates. Many jobs can do it, not just BLU, so your example is really poor. This is a situation with two jobs focused on DD, and one performs better due to how OP it is. You can extend that to a lot of different content and see the disparity. It's time to update BLU!
You legit just said that BLU needs an update because Taint said he believes can solo Lilith on his MNK faster than his BLU.

I remember i saw that once, not sure if it was here or in other thread I Don't know how x Job can kill Lilith safer turns into other jobs need a update. RUN can not kill Lilith as easily as my MNK, guess its time for a RUN update.

I showed using her in my video a few pages back, she can hold hate for the initial first half of the fight given its a short fight. I'd say its nice for being able to set up.

It gives a very potent magic DEF down, and she likes to follow up with impact afterwards. You can get rid of all the effects at once if you use a panacea. |
