Zantetsuken X has better DMG, lower Delay, a large amount of Accuracy, more Attack and Haste which can be useful to cap. Not sure if the PDIF mechanic works on WS and how frequently, but it'll contribute to white damage.

Montante +1 has 5 more Store TP and TA+3-5%.

If you can maintain your x-hit build and you already have good enough gear for fast TP gain, then Zantetsuken X will WS consistently harder than Montante +1 by a decent amount without really losing significant TP speed.

Motante +1 still wins. Assuming you are doing groups that use buffs anyway. New GS has a bit lower delay and i think 5 less TP a hit on both TP and WS phase. It is indeed one of many GS that are better than rag. If acc and attack are an issue for you a lot, then this GS would be amazing.

Just cleared it on normal and it counted.

Might have been a bug at release where it didn't count. We wont ever know because Square never tells us ***about what actually gets fixed in each patch.
