Anyone subject to US law is effected by the 14th. That covers not only States but also territories. Last part is very important cause people born in Guam and Puerto Rico are also citizens by birth.

“A child born in the United States, of parents of Chinese descent, who, at the time of his birth, are subjects of the Emperor of China but have a permanent domicile and residence in the United States and are there carrying on business and are not employed in any diplomatic or official capacity under the Emperor of China, becomes at the time of his birth a citizen of the United States, by virtue of the Citizenship Clause of the Fourteenth Amendment.”

That's the beauty of what Trump haa done. Anyone arguing for the 14th amendment as written must also accept the 2nd as written. Liberals now must argue against themselves. Furthermore this hits the news right before midterms with an invasion coming. Puts everyone talking about immigration reform and that impending invasion. Democrats in vulnerable elections must now take a stance on anchor babies, that invasion and what that all means.

The only laws that are settled are the ones that liberals like. Everything else is subject to interpretation.

The maple syrup mines would be too dangerous for foreigners.
When a Canadian hatches from the permafrost, they instinctually seek out maple syrup because of the strong bond between the permafrost and the the maple syrup mines located deep within the Canada. Foreigners lack this conditioning.

Too bad Paul Ryan took the wind out of this "debate" before it even got started. He literally said Trump can't do it, so all every candidate has to do is defer to Ryan's comments. No one has to take a stand on it, no one has to even talk about it.

Its just a hail mary from Trump, too bad its been thrown by a Mark Sanchez like arm. Can't even reach the end zone. Republicans are already dismissing it, Democrats can just sit back and enjoy the show.

Whats funny here is that CJ is displaying better critical thinking skills han Vic. I mean he still present nonsensical arguments, but at least they ARE arguments.

You have yet to show how Trump can change the law on his own, nothing you say about your wrong intepretation of the 14th matters. There is absolutely nothing Trump can do about it. He is just baiting and not a single Democrat is falling for it.

I usually put butter and a thin layer of peanut butter on my pancakes, waffles, and french toast. I love maple syrup, but i usually use it on sausages, ham, and other meats or as a dip for my breakfast sandwiches

He wouldnt change the law, he’s simply enforcing the 14th amendment on its original intent.

Up to others to prove that’s constitutional. If they find a judge that agrees with them then he’ll just appeal it.

On the last few pages.

If you instantly removed all undocumented aliens from the USA our farming sector would collapse. To put it bluntly, citizens will not do the work they do for the wages they get.

The vast majority of them are gainfully, if illegally, employed, paying taxes and social security through phony green cards and SSNs. They will never see a red cent of social security BTW.

The anchor baby thing has produced a whole birth tourism industry. The vast majority are from China although many other countries contribute. Its gotten bad enough that pregnant tourists from China are being refused entry. (Jeb Bush was right in this regard.)

Trump is pure poison in Pittsburgh right now. So poisonous that every single politician he invited to come along on this campaign stop was somehow busy elsewhere. I sincerely hope Sheldon Adelson realizes what he has helped to bring about. Pretty much every republican Jew is lost to Trump now. (The loss of campaign contributions is way bigger than the loss of votes.) I would be surprised if this coming Saturday every halfway secularized* congregation will have a sermon on the wicked ways of the Trump.

*We have our share of the ethereal and other worldly types.
