There's something amusing about the idea that Mitch "The ***" McConnell will get on the Senate floor and *** every morning this week.

The investigation is already underway, dude, you try to force a vote before Friday and you're gonna lose Flake, and probably Collins.

I didn't realize how terrible McConnell was at this.

Probably the worst senator to hold office in the last 20 years.

Are we talking about Mitch “Obama should have told us this bill he vetoed was really bad; because we voted on it after the fact to spite him and now that it’s about to become law we realize it was really bad too” McConnell?

Text messages suggest Kavanaugh wanted to refute accuser's claim before it became public
A former classmate of the Supreme Court nominee has reached out to the FBI but hasn't received a response.

NBC News.

The rundown: Kavanaugh stated that the first time he heard about Ramirez's allegations was when he read about them in the New Yorker. but he was communicating about them with former classmates days before the article dropped.

The FBI is officially disinterested.

Being much more terrible the other side, regardless of sides, would be crying I'm mean.

And I'd whip my wimp *** weak Senators into submission to vote how I tell them. Punk *** ***. XD

Anyone that drinks beer can't interpret Constitutional law...or write funny jokes for SNL.

Cause destroying a man on public TV is funny right...everyone laugh at the man dragged through the mud. Aren't old white guys terrible. Believe all women especially when they can't prove beyond a reasonable doubt...go feminism and so forth.

If you aren't an alcoholic, didn't lie to congress about it and didn't sexually assault women, I think you're good to go!

Fone for Supreme Court!
I'd trust Fone's judgement.

If the Democrats cared about women they could have done the FBI investigation without revealing the women in public...but who cares about that we got to stop Bret.

I feel embarrassed for both the "Dr" and Bret. Having to go in front of the Senate shows the world how incompetent they really are.

I know it's fox and some will blow it off but this is what the President is trying to avoid. The dems sent a letter to the FBI with a list of names of people and businesses that they think the FBI should interview....over 5 dozen names..... Democrats said they want to expand the investigation to see if Kavanaugh lied to the committee about ever getting black out drunk.....seriously WTF cares if he got drunk in high school or college. For *** sake I remember crawling up barracks stairwells while puking my guys out when I was 18 in the Army just about every weekend when not deployed.

Quote:
The expansive list highlighted Democrats' apparent effort to broaden the inquiry into Kavanaugh beyond the sexual misconduct allegations against him to focus instead on whether he misled Senate investigators by denying that he had ever "blacked out" from drinking.

Other Democrats have sought to expand the scope of the FBI's probe in recent days.

Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders wrote in a weekend letter that the FBI should do more than just probe the accusations, but also should conduct an investigation into whether Kavanaugh was honest during his hearing. He called for investigating whether Kavanaugh committed perjury, "given the very serious fact that lying to Congress is a federal crime."

"A fundamental question the FBI can help answer is whether Judge Kavanaugh has been truthful with the committee,” Sanders said. “This goes to the very heart of whether he should be confirmed to the court.”

In other cases, Democrats who enthusiastically called for an FBI investigation last week now seem to be downplaying it.

“Yes, of course there should be an FBI investigation,” Connecticut Sen. Chris Murphy tweeted Friday. “But whatever they find doesn’t change the fact that Kavanaugh, especially after his performance yesterday, is the most dangerous Supreme Court pick of our lifetime.”

And Sen. Mazie Hirono, D-Hawaii, on Sunday refused to answer whether Democrats had leaked Ford's letter, and instead suggested the FBI would conduct a "farce" of a probe.

Link to story

It's all about running out the clock, if Dems can push the nomination past November ~and~ if they can get a majority, then they can shutdown the nomination entirely and keep the seat open until 2024 when they get another chance. Everything they do it towards that goal, power at any cost.
