Players who already have 16 characters from mog bonanza could PL all of them up to Lv99, start RoE, buy voucher + do easy RoE's for 5 more voucher for a Venus Orb. 16 chances at an omen body or sell orbs for gil (wiki says omen bodies are POL sendable).

8m for 16x 5 voucher, the 5m chest would cover the costs easily.

I'm pretty sure SE intended it.

Orbs are most definitely not sendable to other characters on same account.

Yeah, tried it. You get a message that there's a crack in it. Tried trading it back to the NPC but he didn't do anything. Didn't think to check the original BCNM NPCs though.

You should de-level if you cannot beat it and die to it.

They took the obvious steps to avoid mob index being a factor, so I'm not sure this matters: There are 3 physical BCs, each with their own unique mob indexes. There are IDs ranging from 0x292 to 0x2D3 (two sets of 3), so I imagine the higher orb spawns different chests as well.

Haha first try open 8 without a thud... say *** it greatness at any cost and get mimic. Tried something different where everyone disbanded and tried to fight with 1 pup at a time.... if others were too close would get drawn in but otherwise didn't. But it's evasion was really too high for my current setup without OD and wasn't dying nearly fast enough like that

Anyways did a bunch more mars going until I heard a thud or died. For these I only entered with the orb person left 2 people in pt outside for speed.

Patterns I could see in this every time I opened at least 1 noise I got at least 1 synth material and 1 sack of some sort though the 0 thuds gave me equip and indi. Based on the numbers I got it looks like thud was 2 drops and each noise was 1 more except 2 times 1 of them added another drop.

Well this was an interesting once a month thing. But hey got some regal and some money items I guess. Might try venus when I bother doing the RoEs
