Highlighting the menu lets you see the weather/time even in combat.
Checking the menu every 3 seconds to verify weather is -not- realistic.

Realistically missing the occasionally change in weather isn't exactly night and day difference

Not the point, weather has become a standard. Losing it would be a noticeable difference.
Statement made; possible. Realistically; not possible. Practical; irrelevant.

Hey All - was doing earlier with smn method on D which seemed to work reliably, but took a bit longer than I'd like. Has anyone tested migwari burning this with tank for initial pull, 2x nin, whm brd and a geo or cor? I know it has the insta KO move but I have a feeling that could be avoided somehow with sc dmg.

Checking the menu every 3 seconds to verify weather is -not- realistic. It totally is, especially since most jobs that stay engaged all the time don't need to check it as often as those that don't. Weather is often visible in the environment, as well.

E mode
Pld/Sam/Brd - (Corneila/Yoran/Koru-Moru trusts)
Observations:
Kept Ixion alive. Tank hold both in the corner no problems.
When its charging it will have a weak dread spike on. This will stop when it uses Atramentous Oblation move.
Also noticed if you WS when its charging, the message "The boss begins to emit Noxious Miasma". No dread spikes and will use a move that one shots.
If you ws it again after this message it said "The boss miasma dissipates, but its rage is beginning to boil over". I decided to continue ws and it used Nether Castigation and one shot everything.
Going to try again with more players but the following:
Tank holds both mobs and don't ws when its charging.

It's like Pain Sync.... any kind of damage will increase the lethality of the AoE. We've observed a possible correlation between damage done during charge and the distance of the AOE too.

Woah woah woah... In most cases, weather is a spell cast on the player by a SCH. Sure, it has an icon, but, like Haste and Flurry, is anyone really advocating that if these had to be monitored manually it would be just as easy as if they were being monitored automatically?
And < or > 2000 TP sets... Would it be as simple to watch for these values in a zerg and hit the right macro as it is to just // "Tachi: Resolution"... Enter... Space Bar... Up... Enter...?
Most of the people arguing about this don't even do that, they have Auto-Weapon Skill stuff running... Auto-WHM, Auto-RNG, etc.
Sure, a person could watch for and adjust as needed, but it would neither be as accurate or as fast as functions of Windower. The difference is night and day. Luckily, we have code for that.

Closer more damage or further more damage.
Cause I'm still hearing smnburn. And nothing else being viable. (sch and/or ranger, but dramatically slower)

10 years ago when maximum nuke was like 8k it was a blip.
Now its the difference between first and last in a parse.

Now its the difference between first and last in a parse. It's still the same percentage, and when the difference between first and last in a parse is 1%, it's not a big deal

up to 30%, not 1%, actually up to 50%
Nuke on watersday with rainstorm and a fire nuke, you're losing a -ton- of damage.

But my real point was the frequency. It's like not weather is changing every 3 seconds or even active half the time. And then there ar3 all the times you got a storm overriding. Oh no did 10% less dmg on 1 spell in 1 fight this entire week.
Anyways we got a dmg type for these moves? And I think someone mentioned scherzo but what about that with EA?

It's not rarely.
A guy hitting every time, vs you hitting it /occasionally/
Try to nuke without it in resienjima where the weather changes every 15 seconds.

Double weather day + 30%
Neutral 0%
Wrong day double weather -30%
No math required.

It could happen every time something changes. Full dispell. Duration ends. A MA occurs so some amount of TP overflow changes the WS value.
Windower has allowed us all to play faster and/or more lazily. In a zerg, we aren't watching our TP feverishly. If we had to do that, we wouldn't be able to watch our collection of buffs to ensure none have dropped.
The point is we could not replicate the speed or accuracy of our robot overlord. Everything it does we could do, but we've handed over the controls for a reason. Let's not kid ourselves about those reasons.

Let's not kid ourselves about those reasons. No, but with sufficient attention, skill, and preparation, you can get VERY close (with a few exceptions, like having quick magic in pre-cast but not mid-cast).
Post any findings here, I haven't seen anyone start a post yet.
Vol 1: VE - 1x Dullahan
E-VD - 1x Dullahan, 1x Monoceros
Scintillant Lance hit me for 8.7k on E (as sam)
Killed Unicorn first.
Dullahan did a warm up? Got the message: "The Boss begins to emit a noxious Miasma"
I did a light SC (not sure if this matters) and it said The miasma dissipates but its rage is begining to boil over.
Then he did Nether Castigation for 8kish damage. over
