Actually we get a lot out of the UN.

Enough for the amount we pay? No idea.

But despite the concept of the US being the cops of the world I notice that none of the UN peacekeepers who get slaughtered in other parts of the world are Americans.

I think this is worth paying for.

Cops without a clue department:

Suicidal man doused in gasoline catches fire after police use Taser on him
Star - Telegram

He's covered in gasoline! Use a sparky on him? Much more fun than just trying to pull a lone ranger and shoot him in the hand.

We, as in the USA, gets nothing out of the UN. They benefit the nation in no way and just service to constantly insult the disparage the USA. They are masters are doing nothing while pretending to be important.

So interesting through for anyone who's actually been keeping up with the clusterfuck that the Mueller investigation has become. The Dems want President Trump to do something stupid like order Mueller fired as it would give them ammunition to use against him and clear the way for them to attempt impeachment. With how the Exclusionary Rule and Fruit of the Poisonous Tree work, it's now virtually impossible for the Democrats to bring any charges against President Trump. Right now their trying to fight it in the court of public opinion, any real legal proceedings would have the entire thing thrown out due to evidence being tainted.

So all this media baiting and out right lying is just them stoking the fires of hatred on the off chance they can goad President Trump into doing something stupid. So far he's shown no signs of falling for it though, he'll keep the entire investigation intact because it's now a win-win for him. If the investigation turns out nothing, then he wins, if it turns out evidence the Dems tampered with the 2016 election via FBI and DoJ interference, he really wins, and if the Dems attempt to press an impeachment then it all gets thrown out and he still wins.

Just in case anyone here thinks Comcast won't screw every penny out of everyone when the net unneutrality comes around...

Connelly: AG Ferguson—'Shocking, illegal conduct by Comcast'
Telephone recordings reveal "shocking, illegal conduct" by Comcast in selling its Service Protection Plan to customers in Washington state the AG says

Seattle PI

Quote:
Comcast has treated its customers with "shocking illegal conduct" Attorney General Bob Ferguson charged Friday in a new, expanded court filing for his $100 million lawsuit against the telecommunications giant.

The company has deceived its customers in sales calls, and destroyed evidence of those calls een after the AG's office had demanded phone records, Ferguson told a briefing on the state's first-in-the-nation suit against Comcast.

The AG is charging that Comcast signed customers to a deceptive service plan without their consent. As well, it falsely told consumers the plan was free when Comcast charges them every month, said Ferguson.

"I encourage every Comcast customer in Washington to check your bill," said the AG....
Also they deleted over 90% of subpoenaed phone calls.

According to a police report, Daniel Leetin Shaver (December 29, 1989 – January 18, 2016), a pest-control worker and resident of Granbury, Texas, had been staying at a Mesa La Quinta Inn & Suites on business. He invited two acquaintances to his room for drinks. There he showed them a scoped air rifle he was using to exterminate birds inside grocery stores. At one point the gun was pointed outside his hotel window, prompting a witness to notify the front desk; the police were immediately called. Upon arrival, police gave Shaver and his acquaintance's detailed orders for several minutes, with frequent admonitions that failing to comply with them would get them shot.[3]

Eventually, Shaver was ordered to crawl on the floor towards them. While complying with their request, Shaver, who was intoxicated and could be heard sobbing, begging officers, "Please don't shoot," brought his hands toward his waist. Police Sergeant Charles Langley yelled at Shaver that if he did anything that deviated from his instructions he would shoot him and he probably would not survive. The officer told Shaver to put his hands up in the air and not to bring them down for any reason. A few seconds later, the officer ordered Shaver to crawl towards him, to which Shaver complied. Shaver then reached his right hand back towards his waistband, at which point Langley can be heard yelling "Don't!" while Officer Phillip Brailsford simultaneously opened fire with his AR-15 rifle, striking Shaver five times and killing him almost instantly. Shaver was unarmed.

Not saying he deserved to die but you can't point a gun out a window at a hotel and not expect there to be a problem.

never happened. he was an exterminator (killed pigeons with pellet guns in costcos) someone in his room asked what was in the case, he said pellet gun, showed the person, and a couple in the hot-tub outside saw him take it out of the case and put it back. called the front desk, this happened.

Either way he was a dumb ***. People can't tell the difference between a pellet gun and a real gun.
