Which part of that isn't true or qualifies as a defense?
"Franken owned up to that and the kiss, apologized, and the woman who made the accusation accepted that by acknowledging it as a stupid mistake, which says a lot"
do you still feel that same way now after accuser number seven came forward?
probably not and you have a hell of a lot of company...
literally the next sentence. I still wouldn't defend anyone accused of harassment but I thought it was a good example of how the situation could be handled without immediately attacking the accusers for being whorish liars.

really dude? franken is setting the good example?
again it's a jumping the gun problem I'm condemning you for.
By not attacking the accusers, yes, that's a good example. Stepping down, also a good example. I didn't jump the gun on anything by pointing out the former.
BTW I'm ecstatic about smoking bans in restaurants. It was easily the worst part about going out when I was a kid. we'd only go out to eat maybe 2-3 times a year so if I was gonna get sick after Sizzler it better have been because the food was slop rather than the table next to me pumping ash towards our table.
The best one was when they got the real Alex Trebeck on there too. " Well, well, two Trebeks. I feel like I'm in a Raisin Bran commercial: "two scoops of fruit". "
we should just have smoking or no smoking restaurants and bars.
Here you're allowed to have smoking in restaurants as long as the area is closed off from non-smoking with separate ventilation, but I don't know if that's common in other places or associated with Nevada gaming laws or health codes or whatever. I'm sure it's cost prohibitive so not a lot of places have it but free markets yada yada yada.
Just like 99% of everything else Trump related, it's only a problem because it hurts people's feels.
The problem here is that some feels (Tumblrinas, Red Pillers, etc.) don't mean a piss in the wind because they're internet whiners and that's all.
The problem with the U.S. acknowledge Jerusalem as the capital of Israel is that it upsets an already-tottering balance in the Middle East that will further push the more people into extremism that will lead to more violence, and it's entirely unnecessary.
Sometimes you have to do the right thing regardless of how the psychos feel about it.
Im just curious as to why you consider it the “right thing”.
