I can't even begin to imagine anyone that needs to solo dyna-d being able to do it.

Every trust tank will get one shot. Aggro 1 statue, have no crowd control, you instantly lose. That means you have to use AATT or be the tank. Then survive 4 mobs and a statue with a trust healer.

I think you're overselling the difficulty a bit. Back when I was a semi-scrub returnee, I used to enter with two others and we'd split up and make solo trust parties to farm(poorly). Job mastered with decent gear for that era, but pre ML, no REMAS, no Naegling, Malignance, Ody gear or even Unity augments.

Fresh chars in 117 would have issues, and it's only really viable for jobs that can melee well with self/trust buffs; You need to be careful, and wipes will happen, but it's not as impossible as you're making it out to be.

If you teamed up with 15 trusts and 3 humans to attack one statue thats 3 humans vs 5 mobs.

That's significantly different than 1 player vs 5 mobs.

And like I said, it's not impossible. It would just be miserable. You wiped. Multiple times.

Yall dont comprehend ***. For the 10th time. Illiteracy +1

A character that existed for 10 hours is not the *** same as a character with MM50.

I went in A to show how hard mobs hit trusts with a brand new character. Just to prove the point. They have too much attack. They hit valaineral kupipi kuro and trion for 800+

A trust tank can't hold 800 damage enmity and kupipi doesn't have enough hp to survive one attack.

Every mob has too much attack. Thats why every single piece of new gear has DT on it. And why trusts are getting overhauled.

How about MM2?

It would've been nice to have a crawler as the first mobs, but I got dhalmals

I would've looked for lesser mobs instead of being honest had I known you're all going to act stupid as *** at the time.

Valaineral survived 36 seconds while kupipi did who knows what.

Full health to dead in 10 seconds. I guess I should've bought a cure scroll for warrior so I could save him.

If I ever go again ill look for scorpions or manticores so he can get one shot instead of picking the first mobs.

Unless you're an RMT with virtually no gear, soloing Dyna-D to unlock +3s wouldn't be that difficult... unless you're the worst puller in the history of the game.

Anyone doing this wouldn't be a returnee with minimal gear. It would be veterans gearing up a new job with enough to make it work. I look forward to doing this on BST and DNC, two jobs I geared but didn't get around to using in Dyna-D.

In Dynamis Bastok you need to fight 2 statues to get to the W1 boss. For Windurst it's 3. For sandy it's 1. For Jeuno it's 2.

There are no links unless you're an idiot.

I'm sure it's possible to die doing this, but if you die because your gear sucks & you don't know how to play the game...get better gear and learn how to play the game.

Or...like I say in every thread on this website. Play the MMORPG with another human being. Maybe even more than 1.

Killing the tombstone boss is definitely an impossibility. Any stomp is going to one shot most trust.

And it has what, -75% pdt

Just maybe if you use a perfect comp with selhteus and a way to give him aoe defense food and turn while he gets enough tp to aoe heal again after every stomp.

....Maybe rdm/nin with 1D dagger enspells so it's not "completely" impossible.

1-No it wont, though it usually does them back to back to back to back, which will likely kill the trusts at that point, but thats not one shot.
2-If only SE made it so you can get unlock from killing 100 wave 1 fodder. Oh

Two methods to unlock +3.

Method 1: Defeat the mid-boss.

Method 2: Defeat 100 squadron enemies in a specific zone to unlock that area's corresponding Relic +3 slot for a specific job.

Basically enter and farm. When SE originally introduced method 2 in 2021, it was seen as a little ridiculous. With power creep however, it should be manageable. I don't believe you need to kill 100 in a single run for it to count.

What I am unsure of is whether you get the body unlock if you get the rest of the set with method 2. BGwiki suggests that this is not the case.

i tried 3box dyna d on week-old 99s not long ago and it was quite doable, but things can go south very, very quickly. casters that don't get tagged by uriel blade, sleepgas, any number of situations arise that require quick thinking and practice to overcome.

without a doubt, the hardest pull is the very first one. real players can fully buff before ever engaging, trusts cannot.

Having received the Job shard KI on the 100th kill in the last needed zone for numerous jobs, I'd say it's probably a safe bet that just killing 100 mobs in each zone is sufficient to unlock the body.

not the intent, it's just that the update footnote was added between the two sentences so it's confusing.

you can do the kills or the midbosses, but the last sentence refers to +3 requiring completion of the objective for all four zones.

edit: hopefully the page is clearer for you now.

That's how I understood the update notes, yeah. They're retroactively adding a reward choice for the final mission of rhapsodies. I imagine it's the standard, "choose your accessory" reward. Since Adoulin and VR were rings, maybe rhapsodies will be earrings again.

Can confirm this is true. My LS usually kills way more than 100 mobs on W1 during farm nights, and I just finished my PLD unlocks last night, and each slot was from 100 kills.

Don't get my hopes up that there will be an EP accessory, finally...

Odd, since SE has historically been obsessed with belts.

What slot would be a better candidate pick for it really? Earring would probably be good if it had unique stats we haven't seen before.

Exactly this we have JSE+2, null and TVR necks. A lot of jobs are using Sailfi belt+1 for TP and WS or Fotia Belt for WS.

slots with pretty homogenized gear that could see some cool stuff:
  • ammo (FU RNG and COR)

  • waist

  • back but it would have to be amazing to compete with ambuscade capes and null shawl

  • shield/grip (big FU to dual wielders and pld though)

id imagine it'd have to be either a belt or an earring as 1 hasnt been used as a main storyline reward, and the other was just for those zilart/CoP side missions so plenty of options there

They’ll probably add some more accessories I feel for the early part of fresh i119. From my experience a lot off new people struggle filling the ring/earring slots for quite a bit of time until they’re able to grab enough Gil for Chirichs+1, go through omen, or unlock some HTBFs for their job staples. On the note, I would like to see possible upgrade paths for existing final
Mission reward accessories similar to how Seekers handles their rings.

Regarding Trove…. Wishful thinking but holy do I hope they adjust rewards from loud thuds. On a personal “git gud” note, would love to have some better RNG x.x. I’ve been tracking my trove results for the last 7 months(don’t do this, this is awful for your mental health), and it’s rather grim seeing a 65% first mimic chest haha.
