It seemed inevitable by MM would mean something, but I was really really hoping it wouldn't... I doubt it. MM was only a solo assist feature to help players tackle the zones/NMs better (which only dropped scales). Does nothing for the actual player, and doesn't even affect anything in the Odyssey (chest count, mat consumption). The fact they are adding new point system you can start accumulating now probably means they aren't going to use MM to tie this together, as many players can team up for Odyssey to amass points better than solo. Making MM a prerequisite would be a huge middle finger to a lot of people and woulnd't even fit the original intent, though not unlike SE to go that route. Just don't see that making a whole lot of sense.

So um... remember when I posted:
I still have the one I entered last time that I threw together just to get a "participation" item, but this time the participation prize is a white/purple Byakko helm only. >.< I already have one.
I know it is ***, but since others were posting what they entered, this is what I made seriously using MSPaint and cutting one of the floors from Altana View and maybe 3 minutes of cropping. It's so cringe, but I did seriously only make it just to get the "also ran" prize. I guess I'll enter it again to get a Byakko Helm I can... mule.
Zoomed in, you can see how little *** were given and how MSPaint'd it was:
Please note: It was kind of pretty IN THEORY, but I simply can't be bothered to care about the prizes enough to make it work in practice. If anyone wants to take the idea, clean it up, and enter it as theirs, I would totally be 100% okay with it.
I believed I used the floor from AltanaView "Field: Grand Palace of Hu'Xzoi.
Me: Uses a skin SquareEnix already had in the dats to create a new item.
SquareEnix: The student has become the master.
I guess I am a finalist with my design called "Participation Trophy". lol "Participation" and I ended up getting higher than the "also ran" category. Crazy. All of the other designs are so much more beautiful than mine. /bow
