Current GW 500 is due to the cache server itself (not just the service) being offline. I can't fix that - no access to the main console - gotta be Stan. Sorry.

Is he in violation of any trade laws? Can he charge money for a service without maintaining that service? At the very least he's probably vulnerable to bank/cc charge backs.

Think I might have resurrected the cache server.

Let's find out!

Edit: Yep, it's back. Without getting into the details, it wasn't responding to the management software anymore, but I still had an old shell session connected. I tend to leave one open since that box is the one that needs the most kicking. Problem solved (for now, anyway)

I saw this coming like 2 years ago, no idea why people still pay for the services on there. Not to mention their guildwork chat thing was literally cancer, the whole site was dragged down due to that.

Actually, although its completely irrelevant, how do you get your server ranking thing on your page? when I moved to Asura and set it up it never came up, is that to do with the guildwork thing being broken?

Guildwork still updated a few things, levels etc. But points/rankings died when LSC died really. Guildwork doesn't pull things like titles, mission progress and such.

Iirc, Stan made Discord shortly after Guildwork. Discord is way more profitable/a better investment on his part. He left Guildwork to Rooks and 1 or 2 other people, but didn't give them enough control to actually add/change anything, from what I've gathered. So it's slowly falling apart and being held together by tape and dreams.

I can't dig up the thread but from my understanding they went to Stan's personal twitter and didn't use the Guildwork twitter. Something along the lines of wanting to convert their GW Premium to Discord Nitro I think.

Thank you for fixing this mister my weapons show correct now. My question though any idea possibly why everytime I flush it never updates my missions or assaults? Do I need to delete my main from siren showing on guildwork etc?
