Libs were just looking to give everyone another fake reason that Hillary lost, aka cause America is sexist. Too bad it back fired in the most profound way.

Turns out Hillary and liberalism were only given a pass this round because of her gender.

I wonder if all the libs here have critiqued their own views to that scrutiny.

Gender is only important to liberals when they can play the victim. Otherwise what use do they have in being female ?

Well they are trying to ram it through anyways, committees are expected to vote on it today. Proposed yesterday, getting voted on today. Not even waiting on the CBO assessment, even trashing the CBO. No idea how much it costs, but lets press on! The excuse I'm sure will be the Dems did it so can we!

I'll be surprised if it actually passes committee votes. Then again, I don't know how many tea partiers are on committees.
It doesn't matter to you anyway.

If it passes Congress, you are going to attack the Republicans for doing exactly the same thing the liberals/democrats did (and you would be right).

If it doesn't pass Congress, you are going to attack the Republicans for not having a plan passed the first time. Which is the whole point in having a Congress in the first place.

Either way, you are going to attack the Republicans.

They need to actually repeal Obamacare. And then, create a plan that improves health care, not health insurance.

Insurance ≠ care.

In my case my health insurance rose 4 times what I used to pay. That is the true definition of "affordable healthcare" right ?

For Trump healthcare is a lose/lose situation. If they do nothing people will be mad cause most want it repealed. If he does replace it people will complain even though most wanted it repealed. So basically just repeal the healthcare and if people are upset well that's too damn bad. The people spoke the majority wins out go *** to Huff Post already !

I often wonder that about everyone here, sadly it usually appears not.
You are correct.

Not many people are apt or willing to critique themselves, as it's hard to think that you could be wrong in your own viewpoints.

It's a natural human trait. You shouldn't expect people to think otherwise.

Let's try not to cluster everyone together, there isn't only 1 "liberal narrative", your example of the Women's March is a great example, there are different types of feminists and they don't agree with each other, some are bigots / sexist and whatever but that's a very vocal minority.
It's hard to not lump all of the liberal narratives together into one group when the message is the same across the board: You either agree with me, or you are a/an <insert derogatory remark>.

You will see that in every liberal message out there.

Global Warming, you are either with them or you are a second-class citizen (climate denier).
Woman's Rights, you are either with them or you are a second-class citizen (sexist).
Gay Marriage, you are either with them or you are a second-class citizen (homophobic ***).
Education, you are either with them or you are a second-class citizen (seriously, there are too many derogatory terms thrown out against anyone who isn't with the liberal narrative here).

It still doesn't help that they even attack their own, if you don't follow the most extreme viewpoint out there.

Nice pivot, but back to the subject. Any insight as to the results of the reverse gender study?

What are your conclusions?

And its these imperfections that enable us to identify with and empathize with each other.

Sure Trump isn't politically correct and that's fine, but where is the empathy he is trying to convey?

Are you sitting down?

People empathize with Trump because they seen more of themselves in him than in Clinton.

I mean who do you really want to identify with more, a hard working successful business man. Or an evil and vile spirit cooking sorceress who's only claim to fame is that her husband was president?

Dude, we seriously talked about it on page 21.

The analysis from the League of Doom FFXIAH posters were: Conservatives figured as much, the liberals denied that anyone was claiming that sexism played a factor, which was easily corrected.

In her defense, she did serve as a Secretary of State for a bit.

Screwed that up royally though, but that's besides the point.

Well let's be fully clear here. Full repeal would be 10x better than what is currently in place.

The best way to fix a problem is by not creating more problems, and any law that was created to create more problems need to be removed before we can fix the original problem!

The idea the government can force you to buy healthcare is crazy to begin with. Remember when America was more about freedoms...not about the government telling you what to do

White House says Trump wasn’t target of investigation, despite prior claims implying otherwise
FM News KXL 101 - Portland OR

Quote:
The White House on Wednesday said that President Trump was not the target of any investigation, even though five days earlier he claimed in a series of tweets that he had indeed been the target of a wiretap initiated by former President Barack Obama.

“There is no reason that we should — that we have to think that the President is the target of any investigation whatsoever,” White House Press Secretary Sean Spicer said during his daily briefing with reporters.

Spicer’s comments came several minutes after he had first implied that the White House was unsure whether the president was a target or not.

Responding to a reporter’s question asking if the president was the “target of a counter-intelligence investigation,” Spicer initially said, “I think that’s what we need to find out. There’s obviously a lot of concern.”

But apparently, that wasn’t the final answer.

At the end of the briefing, Spicer was handed a sheet of paper by an aide, from which he read the aforementioned assertion that the White House had no reason to believe the current commander in chief was a target of an investigation.

In the aftermath of Trump’s initial comments regarding wiretapping, the White House suggested that Congress should look into the matter.

Last Thursday, Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-South Carolina) and Sheldon White House (D-Rhode Island) sent a letter to the Justice Department asking for any information regarding Trump’s wiretapping claims.

“We request that the Department of Justice provide us copies of any warrant applications and court orders — redacted as necessary to protect intelligence sources and methods that may be compromised by disclosure, and to protect any ongoing investigations — related to wiretaps of President Trump, the Trump Campaign, or Trump Tower,” the letter read.

“All I can say is that the country needs an answer to this,” Graham told CNN last Thursday. “The current President has accused the former President of basically wiretapping his campaign.”
