No, those aren't my standards. A low point 5 years into a Presidency is in no way comparable to Trump's lows a week into his. And really, does anyone think he has reached his lowest point yet? Does anyone think he is going to even have a high point? According to Gallup he started at an even 45/45 approve/disapprove and now he is at 43/52. Fastest President to ever surpass 50% disapproval. Took him a week. Some people never went that low.
He is sucking, everything he says and does is negative. Yes, they are your standards. You rather look at one poll and determine the effectiveness of his entire presidency based on one poll.
But when your own standards are used against you......

Favorability and approval are different metrics. Approval starts at the start of the presidency, so the aggregate trends are not established on RCP until later on when there is more data. I was initially looking at favorability from the start of year, but figured it would make more sense to see his progress from inauguration.
On a side note, you don't do yourself any favors cherry-picking the pollster that gives Trump one of the worst ratings. There's a reason I look at aggregates.
Gallup has always been the best nonpartisan pollster. Its not cherry picking, just look at KN's wiki link there, 4 out of the 6 polls have him with a higher disapproval than approval. Only the hyper conservative rasmussen has him at a positive score.

You cannot rush a paper, use unverified data, ignore internal protocols, and call it science.
But we do have 2 things from Pleebo's post that is common with anyone who is ashamed at what the NOAA did.
1) Dismiss the source without providing any counterpoints to the source's accusations.
Nothing was fudged and the claim that it was is outright facts I don't like published by the *** Daily Mail.
2) Attack the person who made the accusation (or in this case, just reporting it).
Deniers are of course glomming onto it as Climategate 2.0 (1.0 has been thoroughly debunked for most of a decade now) like they do any contrary sounding news they don't actually understand but think sounds right.
Anyone else noticed what is missing from Pleebo's post? Oh right, a counterpoint. All this is is another attack post from Pleebo.

Pleebo attacked the article, not the poster. He also made a generalized critique of deniers. The poster took offense because they identify themselves as a denier. Then attempted to extrapolate that they were personally attacked while at the same time making personal attacks.
Behavior like this is why we can't have nice things.

The findings in the 2015 NOAA paper have been independently verified in other subsequent papers since its release. Relax those *** jimmies and get over it.
