His SoS pick, Tillerson, has called climate change a serious issue and he's more in a position to negotiate climate pacts with other countries than someone like Perry in a DOE post but Tillerson's direct business interests are in conflict with his personal beliefs. Trump has been so back-and-forth with his opinions on climate change. His attempt to get names of DOE employees is weird considering he reversed his previous stance that CC was all a Chinese-created hoax.

Tillerson is also in favor of a Carbon Tax, which is really interesting. I suggest anyone to read a bio on him, I think he is a pretty solid pick and though his ties to Russia may seem like a conflit of interest, they likewise prove his ability to handle foreign affairs.

Regardless, Trump is in a very weird position on climate change. He also remove his Paris accord plan from his website after being elected. Seems a little less dismal than before.

That means jack ***nowadays. Intentions change every moment and he isn't safe within any US friendly country. The moment he steps into one he will be subjected to extra judicial treatment. They may stretch it out while waiting for the world to look at something else then ship him somewhere the US can get to him.

As if any oil exec could ever have the balls to call climate change a hoax.

One of the two things I really can't wait to see, it to see trump tear apart climate change and expose it for the big nothing burger it really is.

Trump doesn't have the intelligence to talk about climate change, much less "tear it apart." Better luck on your next fantasy, climate deniers.

Reality has already done this. The earth doesn't have any political bias and will whatever it was going to do anyway.

I'm sorry but the last time I heard the official Trump line was climate change was invented by the Chinese to cripple American manufacturing. That's his tear apart.

Not sure why it doesn't mention Italy as well in that list of countries. The M5S party(the populists)have been called out for using propaganda typical of russian influence for a long time now.

Ballot box stuffing isn't anything new and this is just an extension of that. Doesn't matter that it's unethical or illegal, the ends justify the means the glorious people's revolution must happen and so forth.

I don't really care if you want to use ethnic (or ethnic-sounding made up) names for your children. I really don't. That's your right and who am I to tell you your culture isn't valid?

That said, if you have a name that isn't common or even that is entirely unique, you revoke the right to get mad when its pronounced wrong. ***'s sake. My wife shares a name with a Disney princess and people get it wrong all the *** time. Your name/your child's name has zero basis for comparison to 99% of the population. You really expect people to just be able to eyeball that alphabet soup you threw together? If it's not pronounced phonetically, that's your fault, not ours.

Oh wow so NOW the progressives believe that Russia conducts political attacks and sabotage but only when it helps the conservative parties. But them doing the exact same thing back during the cold war, a political ideology war when they were even more politically active then now, is somehow unbelievable. Damn talk about cognitive dissonance.

Russia or it's cold war version, the Soviet Union, has been interfering in domestic politics of western nations since the end of WWII. The original goal was to foment and assist Progressive Socialist uprisings or political movements to combat western capitalism. Now that time is over and they are just trying to influence countries elections to get more favorable people elected.

Funny part, every nation does this one way or another. Every time a Canadian or Italian poster tries to influence people to vote for Hillary, they are creating foreign influence on American elections. The interesting part is that the combined effort of all those foreign nationals would likely have more impact via social stigma (don't wanna be labeled a nasty racist misogynist Islamophobic Trump supporter) then any Russian influence to the opposite. Hacking people is far easier then hacking machines.

If you can't win an election after having overwhelming backing from domestic and foreign media, I guess you have to take whatever scapegoat you can get. Of course this means that you'll be distracted from figuring out why you actually lost and just repeat your mistakes.

I might be in the minority here but I really don't think either "side" of this argument is wrong.

The DNC's candidate was weak as baby ***.

But I still think there's a hell of a lot of compelling evidence that Russia's fingers are in far more pies than they should be and their hand could probably use a well-deserved slap.

The Russian hacking has been a bipartisan issue since it started. Keep pretending that its just one party making it a big deal tho, the minority party that isn't deciding to hold hearings and investigations.
