I think before I get myself into that world again, I'm gonna demand an addon to do the trades because frankly that's the worst part of the whole process XD
Speaking of which, any chance someone has already developed such an addon?
I think one in the MAGA style would be complex but at this point I'd be satisfied even with an addon where I press a single macro/button and he selects the NPC and trades the 2 items (the cape and the refractive crystal).
You can do the bolded with Ivaar's TradeNPC (
https://github.com/Ivaar/Windower-addons/tree/master/TradeNPC )
Code
//tradenpc Detrovio 1 "Ghostfyre Cape" 1 "Refractive Crystal"
Don't even need to target Detrovio, it sends the item trade packet without targeting.
(and you can put it in a proper ingame macro via "/console tradenpc blah blah", if you didn't know that already)
If you want to properly automate it, here's what I know:
1) I have not seen an existing lua.
2) Silmaril says it can:
https://github.com/Mirdain/Silmaril/wiki/09.-Augmentation
(I can't confirm firsthand, I've never even used the free trial let alone the paid version, but I hear only good things about that dev so I bet it does work.)
3) Silmaril's got lua under the hood, so if someone pulled that out it's already done all the heavy packet-discovery-and-quantification lifting to integrate it into the existing Oseem-only addon (also add the Dark Matter option that Silmaril also says it has, unless that already got added to the existing addon and I missed it)
