Well. Technically I didn't have choice. There actually are zero fast food options within my travel timeframe for lunch. Just a bunch of local places that make everything fresh daily. I have to pick between Mediterranean, a traditional diner-type place, a salad specialty place, a bakery that also does really good small sandwiches on fresh bread, and an Italian place that also does sandwiches. Curse the luck. I don't always eat fresh. But when I do it's from Subway.
Seriously though, I've learned to just bring my own food. The stuff here is mostly crap. The halal cart food is good but I can't be eating lamb over rice or chicken every day. We need that Taco truck on every corner proposal stat.
