Well they're here already, so that doesn't make much sense. Give them due process, make them rot in prison. Seems straightforward enough. It's still a crappy version of false equivalence, though.

On the other hand, the article I saw about it said that radical Islam terrorist attacks represented over 10% of the deaths. I think we have a ratio problem here.

if you look at it as a worldwide number, it's gonna be skewed by the fact that the majority of those were done in countries were it was muslim on muslim attacks. in the US there have been more attacks by christians, jews, and left wing extremists than muslims. you can try to flip that info anyway you want, but if you're off target if you're looking for the real biggest threat.
hell americans eating habbits are a bigger threat to them than isis.

No worries, Caitsith.Linear, if you and Rav were both around during the Crusades, barring the technology being used in this discussion, the geographic expanse between you two relative to Europe and/or Muslim held territories, you wouldn't be having this discussion anyway.
Also, if you were murdered by a combatant in the Crusades and speaking from beyond the grave to us, I think most here would be inclined to say, "Holy ***! Are we canonizing this dude or what? Pass the wafers and wine, please!"

Well, it was always my dream to make hunting of any big game 100% legal, no permit required... if you go unarmed, wear only a loincloth, and someone is on the sidelines filming.
It might not be the same as handing a deer a gun, but at least it evens the playing field a bit.

I'm not sure what you're referencing...
I wasn't making any judgement on it, that's just the logic behind their sentiment. It holds up, though, as anyone can take selective elements of a religion and turn it into a radical offshoot that is not representative of the source.
I'm not one to defend religion in general, so take my comments in the spirit they were intended.
