Wales - Portugal France - Germany My hope for the finals is Wales - France, but... it will probably be Portugal - Germany :/ Also, poor Iceland. They could have won if they played like they did in the 2nd half yesterday. At least they didn't go down without a fight.

Schweinsteiger still has a minimal hope of being able to play in the semi-final, but the chance is way higher that he will not. I think Höwedes (EDIT: or Mustafi totally forgot about him) will replace Hummels and Emre Can will replace Khedira/Schweinsteiger. The Gomez replacement is still unclear. I can't see any positive from Wales vs Portugal.
Portugal win means final for mr arrogant Wales win means the Welsh are going to be insufferable for even longer, heaven forbid they actually win the damn thing. My ideal scenario is Portugal to win and lose it in the final, Ronaldo's expression upon losing in the final would be beautiful. Good news!

Also Pepe (Portugal) is injured and will not play. I say: Portugal 1:3 Wales Pepe has been the defensive backbone of Portugal so I doubt they will win today. If Portugal plays like usual in this tournament, Bales will get too many chance not to score so I actually expect them to score a few times. Portugal gets one lucky situation (penalty?) and puts it in as well. Ugh I just remembered Ramsay won't play for Wales, that's a huge loss for them...

Conversely England, despite being massive failures against Iceland wouldn't suffer from losing a player to suspension, any of them are replaceable. If anything it compounds their utter shambles of a performance. |
