Sterling has been useless as he was against Russia, Vardy has to be given a chance.

As a Reading fan, how we're not attacking the left side and exposing Chris Gunter's defensive frailties I'll never know.

Sterling's glaring miss earlier in the half and his lack of anything positive so far this tournament is reason enough to replace him with Vardy at half time.

I was surprised he was still in the team after his woeful efforts against Russia.

England have had to deal with two defensively minded teams and have struggled to break them down, dealing with goals against the run of play, the same will happen against Slovakia.

Whereas Russia, Slovakia and Wales are looking to beat each other and play attacking football, leaving gaps at the back.
