So, I finally switched over to a 16:9 from my old 5:4 monitor, and I've got the window size and graphics the way I want, but the text seems to be kinda squished. Pretty sure there's some Windower setting somewhere I didn't change, as the actual FFXI settings seem correct. Where is this changed these days?
Some text (such as character names) simply doesn't honor the aspect ratio setting, and will look stretched at 16:9. This is just a quirk of FFXI's engine and not something that can be changed.
