Meanwhile I'm cleaning up after Oseem's ***. Guess that's what dark matter really means.

Herculean Trousers also have 4 STP.

Perfect Samnuha Trousers are usable by the exact same jobs as Herculean, and have STP+7 TA+3% DA+3% Acc+15 DEX+16 (effectively Acc+27, the exact same as these Herc Trousers). These Herc obviously have a nice augment to allow them to fill some of the same kinds of roles as Samnuha in case you don't have those, and the Atk+36 is a nice perk if you aren't capped, but Samnuha are still gonna be better.

Anyway, this Herc augment doesn't require Dark Matter and the poster said it was from a Fern stone, so I'm not even sure why we're talking about it so much here (other than to say spending a ton of time trying to augment Herculean legs as melee TP gear might not be the best use of your augment chances).

Let's talk about why we're REALLY here. Kick *** DM augments from Oseem like this one I got today:

I didn't wanna be the first to say it but capu read my mind. Also, I'd kinda be pissed of I got those augments on trousers rather than any other herc piece, considering samnuha are still better.

I wasn't stating that they were better than Samnuha, just that they are at least better than Meghanda +2.

I've yet to get perfect anything from that stupid event though :(

So I was gonna make a joke post about the Rapid Shot +7 Merlinic Body my mule got today (thanks, Oseem!). And then he stopped trolling me and gave me this:



FWIW, it barely beats my previous MAB+46/WSD+0% Herc Helm for Trueflight/Wildfire (both of which beat Orion+3), and for COR it won't beat Pixie+1 for Leaden. So if you get a massive MAB aug on Herculean gear you don't really *need* super high WSD to still make a great WS piece for the ranged jobs.

Awful nice for Savage Blade, Aeolian Edge, etc. though.

Man it seems like bodies are not the way to go on dark matter I get the same stats pet stuff or magic stuff. My valorous or herc body have not seen anything over 10 attack or acc. Gonna try herc stuff for rng WS sets.

I don't have the pic handy, but I did a friends DM augs on Kanaria last night (he doesn't have anything else to augment) and got Dmg +6, Accuracy +49 Att+18 and Skillchain Dmg +4%. Seems like a solid alternative for Oboro's katana when acc is an issue.

Lucky indeed that's a nice valorous! Its what I was kinda aiming for need them multihits!

I have a very similar Valorous Mail with QA2 Crit1 15acc 15att, but in reality, it's a very impractical piece of gear that loses to most other options. It's nice to have, but my 3 QA pieces are collecting dust because they never have enough acc to make it worth putting in a set.

Here's a weird one. THREE different "special" stats on one piece: DW, WSD, and Crit rate. Obviously also all DM-exclusive for Merlinc. Perhaps more interesting than useful, though.
