I think you mean really good damage or none.

One would think she'd get a variant on Holy (like Carbuncle's Holy Mist) but it seems like she won't be at this rate... :/

Seriously though, she needs ~3 more BPs to be "complete" like the other avatars.

I was CPing on SMN the other day, screwing around with Cait, and popped off a Lv ??? for roughly 17k or so to a fair-sized group of crap not even trying...then couldn't duplicate it. Silly cait...

More holy attacks would be nice, because I actually like this avatar for more than just RR2ing my party.

Or the labeled OhShit macro.

Both are magic.
Neather Blast is like Atonement, "breath-but-not-BDT-affected". MAB increases the damage, but MDB, MDT, and BDT don't reduce it. (This is why it was the most consistent and "best" damage back in the day when it was the largest dark "nuke" SMN had.)

Night Terror is just a "Lv76~80-fake!Merit-BP". It has a damage multiplier term to enemies who are asleep, similarly to Thunder spells. It's affected by MAB, MDB, and MDT.
It's Diabolos' equivalent BP to the Celetial's Merit BPs added in the 80 cap increase. (Carbuncle's is Holy Mist and Fenrir has Lunar Bay... Cait Sith has no Lv76~98 BPs... smh)
Nether Blast and Night Terror also ingore -Darkness Damage Taken, such as an Antica's -50% reduction. Can also confirm that Night Terror takes into account dINT (less damage on BLM worms than WAR mobs + increased damage with Astral Flow JPs).

Spreadsheets lie. Had no idea DNC could do DMG of this sort. Think fastest we did NIN+SMN was 12 depending on NMs.

Spreadsheets "lie" a lot, yeah: They don't consider SC damage at all.

Ever since I've added even more accuracy to my sets, I get Chaos Roll + Samurai Roll, so we can 5-step rather easily, dealing absurd damage in the process. Crystal Blessing and maybe Crimson Howl (no idea if I had it there and if so, if it even mattered between Dia II, Frailty, and Chaos) helped quite a bit, too. My gear sets pretty much revolve around hitting whatever I'm stabbing, so any help with hitting stuff harder is appreciated.

We've run with a SMN-focused setup today and it went pretty well: RUN WHM COR GEO GEO SMN. Setting it up took a while though, but round 1 NMs just melt away to one Flaming Crush + Light. Rounds 2 and 3 require multiple Flaming Crushes though. I guess more information will come soon. I'm just blowing bubbles and rolling dice, after all.

I didn't mean the SCD actually. I ment your WSD I couldn't get DNC wsd nor Set DPS no where near THF's. It made DNC look like trash in comparison w/ spreads.

Do you know how fire threnody II compares? I'd imagine it would be behind GEO or having both RDM debuffs, but it still might be nice, all 3 should stack. It's Fire resist-180 with threnody+4. More with marcato or soul voice.

Someone on BG several months ago said Threnodies 2 were around -70 Magic evasion (element-specific).
Haven't read any detailed test about it though.
