Gotta go with on Trump with this one.
Especially Republicans trying to play an -ism / -ist card.
Quote: U.S. Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump, disinvited from a conservative conference and under fire because of remarks about a female debate moderator, defended his comments on Saturday while denouncing politically correct "fools."
Trump had been scheduled to give the keynote address on Saturday night at the RedState gathering in Atlanta, where several other members of the 17-person Republican field were appearing.
The comments by Trump, the billionaire New York developer and reality television star whose blunt manner has brought a new dynamic to the 2016 presidential race, come during a campaign in which Republicans are trying to overcome what Democrats say is their "war on women."
Erick Erickson, who heads the influential RedState website, said on Friday he canceled Trump's address because of the candidate's "demeaning" comments about Fox News' Megyn Kelly, who was one of three moderators at Thursday night's candidates debate.
Trump, who was leading in polls going into the debate, thought Kelly was unfair in asking him about his previous comments on women.
"You could see there was blood coming out of her eyes," Trump said in a CNN interview on Friday. "Blood coming out of her wherever."
Erickson, who invited Kelly to replace Trump at the RedState conference, said he revoked Trump's invitation because he did not "want someone on stage who gets a hostile question from a lady and his first inclination is to imply it was hormonal."
The Trump campaign issued a statement on Saturday, saying, "Mr. Trump made Megyn Kelly look really bad - she was a mess with her anger and totally caught off guard. Mr. Trump said 'blood was coming out of her eyes and whatever' meaning nose, but wanted to move on to more important topics. Only a deviant would think anything else." The Republican core establishment really hates him. They won't flat out cut him off but they are doing their best to make sure he doesn't win the nomination. They didn't even give much effort to that fake *** "panel" that had such negative things to say about him. I wouldn't be surprised if they were holding little cards telling them what to do or say.
This is gonna get fun.
Do you think it's the real deal or is he just a plant from the Clintons?
I've considered that he's got a hidden agenda, but I'm leaning more toward him wanting the power and just taking the shortest path. The left would never support him, so he's pandering to the right. I don't believe he's conservative on any topic, but he's definitely pro-business, so long as it's him who's seeing the results. Nobody genuine would be so in line on every subject and still be considered an outsider. It's an act, and I'm guessing the establishment republicans are too afraid of alienating the base by calling him out on it. They started to push back and he only got more popular.

If you look at most of Trump's political views, and most of his previous comments, particularly about health care, he seems to lean more liberal/democratic than conservative. Yet he somehow managed to get onto the republican nomination initially.
The more of his antics and public hijinks that I see come from his campaign, the more I can't help but view his "agenda" as nothing more than a game of "Presidential Apprentice: Race to the White House" where saying uncouth, unpopular, or down right ridiculous things are giving him the edge... like every episode of the Apprentice ever, before he abandons the whole shebang before suing the country for ever electing him in the first place.
As popular as he is now, at least regarding "random ratings", he will crash and burn like he always does, but still have enough of his daddy's money to fall back on to stay safe.

"Presidential Apprentice: Race to the White House" But that's really what the country has 'sunk to.'
So it's fitting.
Besides The Simpsons predicted Trump would become president one day about 15 years ago and after him the U.S. will have its first straight female president.

Wait, does he even have a running mate?
Edit: Don't get me wrong, I think Hillary would be a terrible president for many different reasons, and as much as I would like to see someone who isn't coming from a presidential dynasty win the election, I don't believe that will ever pan out in this election.

Graham says Trump is inflicting permanent damage on GOP, urges party leaders to stop ‘tiptoeing’
Washington Post
Quote: Sen. Lindsey O. Graham (R-S.C.) said Saturday that fellow presidential candidate Donald Trump's derogatory commentary has begun inflicting permanent and possibly fatal damage to the Republican Party brand and urged GOP leaders to stop "tiptoeing" around the billionaire businessman and to confront him directly and unequivocally.
In an interview with The Washington Post, Graham said Trump's personal attacks on Fox News anchor Megyn Kelly after she questioned him in Thursday night's primary debate were "an affront to all women" and undermine the Republican Party's urgent mission to appeal to more women voters.
“I think we’ve crossed that Rubicon, where his behavior becomes about us, not just him," Graham said. "I hope the party leadership will push hard. I hope that those seeking the nomination to be the standard bearer will unequivocally reject this. People gave Mr. Trump a pass on the [debate] stage. I understand that to a point, but we’ve crossed a line here that can’t be ignored. There can be no more tiptoeing around this.”
Graham's comments came after Trump hurled insults at Kelly in a Friday night appearance on CNN. He called her a "lightweight" and suggested that she asked him aggressive and "ridiculous" questions in the debate.
"You could see there was blood coming out of her eyes, blood coming out of her wherever," Trump said on CNN. On Saturday morning, he and his campaign issued statements claiming that Trump was referring to Kelly's nose.
Graham, a long-serving senator from South Carolina, was relegated to the undercard debate on Thursday because of his poor standing in national polls. He said the party's deep bench of talented candidates is being overshadowed and undermined by Trump, who helped draw a record cable television audience for the main debate.
"Everything is being placed in jeopardy by the antics of Mr. Trump and we’re at a crossroads as a party," Graham said. "The good news is that 24 million people watched the Republican debate. The bad news is that 24 million people watched the Republican debate."
Graham urged his fellow presidential candidates, as well as party leaders like Republican National Committee Chairman Reince Priebus, to state clearly that Trump's message "is not who we are, not where we're going to take the country and not what we believe."
“It’s just like driving by a car wreck without rendering aid," Graham said. "Donald Trump is an out of control car driving through a crowd of Republicans and somebody needs to get him out of the car. I just don’t see a pathway forward for us in 2016 to win the White House if we don’t decisively deal with this.”
Republican leaders have tread carefully in dealing with Trump, worried about alienating or angering him out of fear that he might run as an independent candidate in next year's general election and take votes away from the Republican nominee. In Thursday's debate, Trump memorably refused to vow to support the eventual nominee, saying he wanted to keep his "leverage."
But Graham said GOP leaders need to "take the leverage away and not be afraid to speak honestly and directly about this problem."
“He’s a bully," Graham said. "He intimidates people by calling them bad names. Like every other bully, he’ll meet his fate only when good people say, 'Enough.' Donald Trump, enough already. Take your ball and go home.”
This is not Graham's first time unloading on Trump. He condemned the billionaire real estate mogul and reality television star last month after he belittled the Vietnam War service of Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.), a close friend and supporter of Graham's. IMHO Graham is right.
But this is a case of sow the wind, reap the whirlwind. Trump is the whirlwind.

Otherwise it wouldn't be her after Donald. Most likely someone named Lisa.

If you ever find yourself agreeing with Graham or McCain, you might want to rethink what exactly is going on.

I'm not here to debate McCain's war record, all I'm saying is he should been committed to an insane asylum a long time ago rather than his current job in the senate.
He could have even gotten a nice seat next to the staring window.

If civil servitude comes with top notch free medical care and a pension for life, sign me up.

I thought they only got the full pension if they served a full term (if elected), or if they were appointed to the position.
Also, the only people who get better medical care happens to be sport athletes. Because we need them to distract the common folk from all the *** happening in Washington.

I always enjoy the saying "If you can't beat a person's ideas, the only option left to do is humiliate him."
Seeing how much love people have with his toupee, I really can't see them actually attacking his viewpoints at all.
Not that I like him anyway, his viewpoints on immigrants is stupid at best because he has no idea how much immigrants (illegal or not) helps the economy as a whole. Economy, but not government (it's hard to track an illegal immigrant who has no Green Card ID# and doesn't report any income for income tax purposes).

Has he actually presented a political viewpoint other than lets build a wall between us and Mexico and have Mexico pay for it?

Its already a fun show. I really hope the GoP turns against Trump, he does the Samson in the temple bit, and that he the tea party "conservatives" succeed in destroying the GoP.
Unfortunately, I can not think of so fun, nor achievable, a demise for the Democratic party.

Mind you some are counterproductive (like his stance on same-sex marriage and foreign affairs) but he supports most pro-economical growth policies common with Republicans. His tax proposal is pretty bad however, and I highly doubt he even has a budget proposal at all.

Apparently nobody builds a wall like the Donald. Which makes sense, because he's never built a wall. And who would build a wall like a person who's never built a wall? FREEDOM

So, he parrots the party talking points as a counterpoint to the same talking points and the only feather in his cap is that he agrees with them about big business... Why are people considering voting for him?

Why are people considering voting for him? You know why. The US electoral system has always been a popularity contest.
Nobody has voted for somebody for the issues for decades, they only vote for a person because of the color of his skin, or because he plays a saxophone on a late night TV show, or his father was also a president, or because he was a vice president of a insanely popular president (even with his very few flaws in office, he still is an insanely popular president), or because he made a bunch of movies when he was younger.
Mind you, on occasion we actually get a real leader out of the popularity contest, but that's a rare occurrence and hasn't happened in 35 years.

Honestly, someone with that much money really can't do something better about his hair?! Compared to most toupees, Trump's isn't really that bad. He probably leaves it like that because it gives him more PR for people to talk about him.
It's always better to have bad press than no press at all.

Ok, I'm totally lost now, are we still talking about the false idol Reagan or the one we pretend was never president Bush? HW was a half decent president, probably the only decent Republican to hold the office since Eisenhower.
Quote: US TV network NBC is cutting ties with Donald Trump over "recent derogatory statements" that the veteran businessman made about immigrants.
NBC said the company would now not be airing the Miss USA and Miss Universe pageants that are co-owned by Mr Trump.
Responding to the announcement, Mr Trump said he would consider suing NBC.
Earlier this month, he accused Mexicans of adding drugs and crime to the US as he announced he was seeking the Republican presidential nomination.
"They're bringing drugs, they're bringing crime, they're rapists, and some I assume are good people, but I speak to border guards, and they tell us what we are getting," he said in his speech on 16 June.
He also pledged to build a "great wall" on the US border with Mexico and insisted it would be paid for by Mexicans.
He later insisted he was criticising US lawmakers, not Mexican people. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-us-canada-33321290
I'm honestly surprised with some of the shit he says. Even though I probably shouldn't be.
