Ayatollah Khomeini Died 27 Years Ago, But a Trump Advisor Still Wants Him to Condemn Last Week's Attack in Nice
GolbalVoices

Quote:
Donald Trump's presidential campaign has always advocated “getting tough on Iran,” but the rhetoric escalated ever so slightly last week, when retired Lieutenant General Michael T. Flynn, one of Trump's chief military advisors and a former director of the Defense Intelligence Agency, demanded that Ayatollah Khomeini—a man who's been dead for more than a quarter of a century—condemn the attack on July 14 in Nice, France.

Appearing on Fox News with Megyn Kelly, Flynn said angrily, “I want the Imam, or Khomeini, to stand up and be counted and to talk about this radical form of ideology in their bloodstream, in their DNA.”

Ayatollah Sayyid Ruhollah Khomeini died in 1989 after establishing the Islamic Republic of Iran, the first modern-day theocracy, following the Islamic Revolution in 1979.

Flynn either confused the name “Khomeini” with Iran's current supreme leader, Ayatollah Sayyed Ali Hosseini Khamenei, or he is unaware that Ayatollah Khomeini died 27 years ago. Whether the mistake was confusion or ignorance, Flynn appeared on Fox News again the following day, on July 15, and said Khomeini again, insisting that the long-dead man denounce the attacks in Nice.

This is the type of advisor Trump counts on?

Well I suppose he is better than a snake oil saleswoman...

Barely.

Trump Delegates Can’t Believe How Terrible The Economy Is For Everyone But Them
Wonkette. Be warned.

Read the article at your own desecration. But openers:

Quote:
If there’s anything that brings Trump supporters together, it’s the absolute certainty that the economy is in the toilet and it’s ALL OBAMA’S FAULT. Oh, sure you can show them charts showing 76 straight months of economic growth since the recovery began, or point out that the private sector has added 14.8 million jobs in the same period, but they know the Department of Labor is lying about all that. The economy is stagnant, or maybe already in a depression, because of the heavy hand of taxation and regulation. Don’t you even watch Fox News?

Funny thing about most of the delegates to the RNC: turns out most of them think the national USA America economy as a whole is in terrible shape, but they’re also really happy with the economy wherever they’re from, according to Politico Magazine’s Michael Grunwald, who found they know for a fact that Barack Obama has wrecked America, but GOP delegates’ own cities and states are doing great because of wise Republican leadership where they live. It’s a terrific, crazy-making read: ...

I think it's pretty clear at this point that Trump absolutely idolizes Putin and is trying to turn himself into some sort of American version.

The problem is Trump utterly lacks the true deviousness and ruthlessness of a Cold War Russian master spy.

Credit where it's due, Putin *** earned his evil overlord throne.

Trump's like the shitty Chinese knockoff, an analogy that's appropriate in so many ways when discussing Trump.

I wouldn't say all caps Big difference.

Being misinformed is also being uninformed. Since the misinformation keeps one from being correctly informed.

The real difference is the misinformed are harder to correctly inform while the uninformed are a bit easier given that the obstacle of belief in the misinformation is not present.

The guy worships dictators and it's hilarious how many one true patriots want a tyrant in office. Their tyrant of course. Not like the liberal Obama tyrant. Because when I talk about how to make America great again, I want to channel Pinochet, Franco, Mussolini, Saddam Hussain and Kim Jong Un. They get stuff done! Yeah, sure they do. Like throwing dissidents into a meatgrinder.

Then again when you plaster your car in American flags, wear American flags every day, talk about the troops with robotic frequency, elevate the founders to godhood and overcompensate like a *** this isn't surprising that you'd support a puffy blowhard who won't even prove he's as rich as he claims.

I maintain that of the GOP ticket that stood a realistic chance (sorry KN, Walker was *** from the get-go), Kasich was the most palatable across party lines.

Not that he's particularly great or has any socially forward-thinking views for a GOP'er.

He just wasn't a complete and utter shitbag (Trump) or a holy roller with delusions of taking ISIS up on their offer of a holy war (Cruz).

Let's be quite clear. I'm not saying Trump is even in the same ballpark as the Fuhrer, but there are undeniable similarities in their respective rises that really think should make anyone with an understanding of cause-and-effect of these phenomena uncomfortable, at least, if not afraid.

I like to look at the 33,000 emails like the mythic quest, emails in place of alexandrite. I'm curious to know, when she'll be done with kenkoken

Looks like a bad day to be in Munich, Germany. Apparently Trump is very right(again) /not surprised.

Other stuff, RNC was pretty epic. Non-serious stuff, I am amazed at the amount of confetti I saw. It fell for literally 20minutes plus it seemed lol /world of balloons
