Can't find anything on this, anyone know how to farm specific Palico skills? Trying to get some more blockers for my Meownster Hunters.

Well I found something. Apparently you can give copies of Palicos to each other.
EDIT: Went to Gamefaqs and asked around there. Got my Unreal Blockers! new DLC out today

Gotta check and see how good this stuff is. The Star rook stuff might be really good if it's the armor I'm thinking of. Like super good for Lance or IGs.
Star Rook just gives Challenger +1 and Mounting Master. It's kinda meh high rank gear. You're probably thinking of Star Knight gear, which we can't get yet unless someone from Japan hosts the quest for it. Also you'll get kicked from a lot of rooms for wearing Star Knight just because people think you hacked to get it.

Yeah, MH has always had this silly DLC system where all future DLC is in our game on release, it's just not unlocked yet. They follow a release schedule for content. Japan is 4 months ahead of us in DLC so stuff they're getting now, we won't get for 4 months.

I wish I didn't suck so I could get event stuff done. I tried it with a PUG one of the arenas and within a minute they died 3 times. got my palico some shades ;3

I'm still on Gogmazios =/ Join a group get the leaders done and everyone leaves. Sucks the rest of the quests for upgrades after that are urgent. so this pain train is gonna keep going!

And be helped by you >_> How do the really high HR work? Like I saw a person who was HR232 the other night. Are there 232 sets of quests and Urgents and then some, or does it get to a point where you just do a certain number of quests to rank up?
After HR7 you start accumulating points towards Hunter Rank up. A lot of fights tend to give around 400~ Points out of around 3000 needed to lvl up.
Edit: Also all the fights before HR7 will count towards your rank. When i did it i went from HR 7 to HR66 after beating the HR 7 urgent quests.

Every freaking 4* quest room with people saying "Looking to increase Hunter Rank" and they aren't even doing the freaking key quests... ugh!
I just want to get my HR up so I can finish caravan 6 quests! Should be able to solo most things up till HR7 as long as your prepared for monster weaknesses and have good resistance to their main element. I'll be off work here in about 15 minutes so if ya need help i can join ya.
Found a group actually doing some. One guy has no armor skills... or boots equipped and placed bombs in the camp... but yeah getting it done ftw.

Trying to avoid making a specific status+ set since i have so many elemental weapons and so few status affliction weapons. That group I was with went through all the hr4 quests. Then we were going to rotate through each persons urgent. Of course the first two people to go dropped as soon as they were done.
