Even getting it to r3 is insane on Wind Orbs and everytime I do an ultimate with a Thief I need at LEAST R4 since Power Steal eats an entire slot. I dunno how I'd ever get it that high.

Would be nice with a BSSB since I could fill the gaps with super auto attacks.

Got my Excalibur from an 11-pull.

Im done with this first banner.

I want to pull so bad but have to wait the so long time until banner 5 ; ;

5 single pulls = Lullaby Rod! I needed a healing DPS relic so bad too!

Dreadnough nightmare is the first that rewards MC 2 lode (to exchange for a mc2). If you cant wait more 11 hours till the login reward (like me) go for it.

I just checked and didn't realize the FFT event and Stage 5 of the celebration were literally 1 day apart. Now I have to make a really big decision on which to pull for -.-

What do you guys think, Hymn of the Faith or Cloud BSSB for RW?

Did 100 Gem and 15 Mythril Pull and got nothing. That's enough of the Banner 1 for me.

100 Gems on the rest, and probably a 50 Mythil on Banner 5. Rest is going towards Tactics. I have 40 Wall RW's followed, so I'm technically good on that front. Literally pulling Banner 5 for Peacemaker and V/VIII/IX synergy purposes.

Yeah I think RWing Wall is probably better since Tyro is situational at best and Y'shtola completely locks down your healer. The main problem is just how good phase 5 is:

• Major AoE Regen Gilgamesh sword, I don't really know how to evaluate this because Gilgamesh to me only exists to Retaliate.

• Cardinal which has little flexibility being a ranged mage item on a mage with nothing but nukes, something that really doesn't bother me, but might bother other people. At worst it's a good SB with +10 MAG on a good Blm. Also has a ton of MAG.

• Peacemaker itself is a ***weapon really but the SSB and extra stats to Lightning are killer. Unless the mob resists or absorbs Lightning I absolutely love this item.

• Wizard Rod is crazy good and is a Regen+Res+Haste on a healer or summoner. Typically I'd rather have a medica on my healer but who can complain about that. At worst just use her as a Smn. Good pure weapon too.

• SG is SG.

• Yuffie headband is really good on occasion but I'm not a fan.

• Steiner Sword is generic.

• Other two suck.

  So if you don't have any item on the banner you have at least 4/8 or 6/8 items that are REALLY top tier.

Maybe someone could let me know how good Agrias is in normal play, and her relics.

soooooooooooooooo for Thief, do I want Zidane with Shift Break, or Bartz with Trueblade of Legend? I have Thief's Revenge at Rank 2 currently, which Zidane has access to and not Bartz, but not sure if it's necessarily worth it or not.

50 mythril and got all 3/4 star.

Am I missing something in Nightmare dungeons? When I read the descriptions, it said any BLM with 5* black magic would have synergy in those dungeons, no matter what gear they were wearing, but everytime I entered it it seemed to just go buy normal synergy rules, FF6 for Phantom Train, FF10 for Spheroid, etc.. and BLM's that were not from those zones had no synergy at all.

It says synergy is normal until the final dungeon.

Just noticed that after I beat the 4th one, when the Ultimate one popped... holy ***that last boss though.... only got him to 60% before he popped Ultimate Buster lol

That's something else, if I could pull Thyrus I'd be happy because Y'shtola is just a good unit overall. There are people that swear by Tyro for his versatility, but I have other characters that can do the things his versatility provides and does them significantly better. And this list only grows as I continue to level characters up. >_>

Agrias is top tier Spellblade, in that she can exploit weaknesses like crazy. Knight adds Holy Element to her weakness exploiting. Saint's Cross is pretty hyped up. She can carry regen/protectga/shellga if absolutely necessary. Fairly tanky, ties with Auron/Fang/Jecht/Zack in native attack tier.

Her SSB Sword is an AoE 6.0 multiplier with a chance to Paralyze and Silence. The ATT+10 for mastery is always welcome as well. Other than that, it's just a solid sword.

Her SB Shield has a ST 5.13 multipler, inflicts a unique Power+Magic Breakdown status effect AND natively has a 20% damage bonus to Lightning Elemental Attacks. Such as Crushing Blow. It also has pretty good stats for a damage dealer, from what I understand.

Oh, started a JPN account for shits and giggles. Pretty funny throwing level 80 BSSBs at <10 Difficulty dungeons bosses.

Pulled Serah's SB Gloves (2-hit MAG, All targets, Multiplier 11.80, grants user double Cast speed) and two Tungsten Bangles.

Put down 300 Mythril on Banner 1 hoping for any SSB but ended up with 2 copies of every non SSB on the banner heh..

Locke with Valiant Knife.

I dont know if you draw Zidanes SSB, but i think all of his SB are bad. Shift Break for example casts att +35% on Zidane. Not just it isnt AoE but it also overwrite the att+ 50% from Shout/PP.

Valiant Knife isn't very good, and Zidane's Scoop Art SB is effectively an SSB when buffed.

I wanted quistis' mighty guard and yuna's hymn but got sazh gun and bartz sword :( I can do 2 more 50 pulls. Should I save for 5th banner (I already have SG from that banner)?

Garnet's SSB from Banner 5 is basically the exact same as Quistis' Mighty Guard. So it'll depend on how you personally rate the other drops from Banner 5.

Both Wall characters are just awkward in my opinion. Y'shtola is super strong, but isn't really viable outside a healing role. Personally I find it extremely annoying having to use anything but a Medica on my healer, and especially something that is required turn 1 like Wall when I also need to get things like Protectga up. Right now my only Hastega and Attack boost is tied to my Whm and it's just really hard to deal with getting that first SB up, then prot, without someone dying by then in ultimates. That said if I had Thyrus I'd probably just take 2 whms to everything because it's that good. I personally don't like Tyro, many people do. He works as a poor mans SSB for a while with SLG and if you have SG it just instantly makes him worth it even if his stats are horrid.

Agris doesn't really sound that good :/. Good spell blades are quite possibly the easiest thing to find, at least in my opinion. Squall, Lightning, Cloud, etc. I think that a 6.0 SSB is worse than all 3 of those characters SSBs too? Sword+Crushing Blow could be cool but yeah.

Just looking at it I doubt I'd really use Agrias. So FFT would basically be two really good Ramza SBs and that's it. Honestly liking Banner 5 more and more.

I actually started toying around with this in the Nightmare dungeons. I was Running Vanille and Mog, with Oerba's Boon and Sunbath. It was quite nice. Keeping the party topped off when nonsense like Press happen was really stressless.

Armor Breakdown + Dragon's Breath + Mighty Guard + Sunbath allowed Elemental/Leech Jumps and Fenrir Overdrive to make quick work of Phantom Train/Spherimorph/Dreadnought.


As for Agrias, I'll definitely be using her if I manage to pull anything of hers.

Spellblade SSB comparison:
Blade Beam - 6.15, 3-hits, AoE
Crushing Blow - 6.5, 5-hits, AoE, Lightning Ele, 7.8 if Agrias' SB Shield is equipped
Blasting Zone - 8.0, 4-hits, ST
Hallowed Bolt - 6.0, 4-hits, AoE, 15% Paralyze/Silence per hit

Her shield is the most interesting for me. 10% higher than Faris' similar SB and a powerful DD armor piece + damage utility piece all in one. Once Pecil gets his Excalibur, Agrias gets knocked down pretty handily... but until then, the only Knight that really comes up against her is Gilgamesh.

Ramza straight up replaces at least 2 roles in your team and every single one of his SBs is good. Throw Stone is the weakest of them all and it is still a phenomenal SB.

Wouldn't Garnet's be a bit better? Since her's can stack with Shellga and as a white mage she will more have lots mind which if I recall increases the duration of the heavy regen and the haste.

Okayyyy I haven't played in at least 6 months and had to restart cause I never saved my account and got a new phone. Is there a general bad *** team/relics I should aim for right now?

Duration isn't an issue at all since MG's base duration is more than double the time it takes to rebuild an SB bar, but the first part is true. That said, there is merit in not ever having to pack Shellga with you (aside from mobs that Dispel), freeing up your white mage's second slot for Protectga, Diaga, or some other utility. Also depends on what other relics you have as Seifer's Coat and Rikku's Targe both do the same thing as Garnet's hastega RES+.




Ramza and Agrias in a little over a week. Anything you can get from them at this point would be badass. Also, pull on Banner #5 (phase 5) of the current SSB fest and hope for a trinity relic (Sentinel's Grimoire(!!), Wutai Headband, Wizard Rod).
