Cardinal Rinoa is a beast! But her SSB is kinda meh.

It does a lot less damage than I expected, but 5 hits for 2-3k each isnt shabby. It's no Black Materia though, whenever Sap lands from that I pretty much win the fight by default

Even on Christmas Omega is being a *** ugh

I'm still struggling with this one. I have Healing Wind and Planet Protector on Aeris already so the rod and the mittens don't impress me much, but I don't like the dagger per se either. Basically I'll have to look at the SB animations and see which is the most fun, I guess.

Finally killed Omega! I was out of abilities too luckily Cloud had Cross Slash up! Such an annoying boss.

I got the Mittens, my physical attackers are the ones lacking anyways although I was disappointed to hear it is only 15%. They have really good stats though, I think they are the best melee armor I have.

I do already have two different AoE heals and don't see too much use in a dagger so it made the decision easy.

I thought they were 30% like boost.

Wasn't really expecting more than 15% myself. Would be weird if it was stronger than the Halloween hat. I stuck them on Gilgamesh and have him put the buff up whenever possible, Vaan if I'm using him instead since I have no good SBs for him anyway.

Managed to beat sandworm too. Got both sap and poison to land and he never sucked in Gilgamesh so the only dmg I had to worry about was an occassional 500dmg Quake, which Medica II took care of handily.

Not even going to try Omega. I don't have close to enough hones.

I got REKT, and bad the first time I fought him, haven't tried again yet. I'm going to tear through the phase 3 event real fast, and then reorganize my party and try again, this time with Stop, and see how I fair. I'm most likely going to run out of abilities, stop isn't even maxed (not enough orbs).

protectga/shellga against the sandworm and it wasn't too bad, I had a harder time with the Behemoth. I forgot to slow one of the bosses though, so never got champion, I should go back and do that.

I didn't have enough hones either. I went in with a total of 10 stops and that was enough with retameta. Just make sure your stopper has 300 MND. This was my setup.

I can't find the reddit thread on it that I saw it on earlier. What I read was that it's 15% AoE, doesn't stack with boost. I'll probably end up sticking them on a healer or on someone I have without a useful SB.

Also doesn't stack with Steal Power, makes me sad considering I really want to make my Thf's good.

I wasn't expecting it to stack with boost. All single attack buffs like PP, boost, steal power, Sunbath, etc don't stack. But attack buffs like advance or hand of the emperor stack.

I am at four 50 mythril pulls in a row with nothing above a 4 star. this is getting to be ridiculous.

You'd think that game developers would be better off coding in anti-ragequit measures, such as guaranteeing at least one 5-star item per 3 50-mythril pulls, so that there aren't people getting royally screwed over by the RNG.

JP version has something similar to this. Every mythril pull you do that doesn't have a 5* increases the droprate of 5* for subsequent pulls, and resets when you do finally get a 5*. Extra 2% drop rate per relic that isn't a 5* I think?

Hmm, I wasn't aware of that. Well, that's something at least.

we shouldve got it about 6 events ago if we were following the JP release schedule tho so we prolly wont be seeing that on global

Someone asked about it on reddit and all they said was "The US release is going a different direction".

Honestly the microtransaction system in this game is one of the worst I've ever seen.

It's the reason I'm going 100% Free-To-Play. Nearly $30 for an 11-relic pull? I might justify spending $30 for a guaranteed item of my choice. There's no way I'd do it just for the chance when there are so many nice real-world things I can get for that much or less that don't require gambling with the cashier.

I mean, I play a decent amount of F2P games like Hearthstone, LoL, DoTA 2 and spend way more money than I should on them. This game I've only spent 15 bucks on that half off pull a while back and the rest completely F2P. If they lowered the pull cost to 1 buck a pop or something I would have no problem spending money on that.

Not to mention that they not only charge insane prices for items, but they also charge for playing (stamina refreshes), and for expanding two different inventories. I think it's a pretty horrible system. I think that Omega was a RNG reload fest but one thing I did love about it was that it didn't cost Stamina and allowed me to fine tune my party for the fight over multiple attempts. Burning 80 Stamina on a elite dungeon only to end up not being able to clear it with your current setup is horrible.

100gem pulls are the only ones worth spending $ on really

yeah I save my money for the $1 pulls and the SSB fests which give increased 5* drop rates (JP has a fest on right now)

Yes but I'm not ready for ultimate exdeath. I saw a JP video of a guy barely killing him. He spams nothing but aoe moves.

I'm just going to farm orbfest until it ends before doing all these events.

Ugh that's what I got. I did two 11 pulls and the best I got was Lightnings sword and two shared relics. I wanted True Judgement Grimoire ugh FML

Doesn't lightnings SSB come out in like next event?
