I can try Shell and Magic Breakdown only but I highly doubt I'll be able to use Advance, it's basically the rarest RW and I don't generally pick it anyways.
Go onto official strategy website and add a bunch of advance users. They'll show up tomorrow probably on your list. Even if they don't follow you back its enough for the event.
Or just stay on this site, click on FFRK to your left and see 2 Advance RWs.
I can't wait for Beatrix, I have a feeling imma spend a lot on that cash wise lol. When is that anyway if anyone knows.
Can only speculate as the order can change/special events can take place. Expect it around the beginning of February or the first week into February, if it goes relativly normal.
I'm a bit disappointed with Sunbath SB. It doesn't stack. I tried using it with Power Steal and nada. I was hoping the regen would allow it to stack like Hand of Emperor SB.
I guess the best option to use mythril is the Mog Beginer Choice to choose a free 5* then spend all the rest in SSB celebrations.
In Sephs SSB banner but he isn't my favorite. I kinda think I'll save for Rinoa's but we'll see.
As much as I really do need the VII synergy gear (I'm not joking I do need it) I'm definitely going with the Rinoa strategy. I imagine she'll be the #1 mage for quite a bit since no one else is MC2'd and if you don't have Thyrus it's probably the best relic you can get in the entire event. Skycutter and Wyrmfang are also really not bad relics at all.
Banner 2 isn't bad either, Organyx and SG but then you have to use Tyro. I think we get a free Runeblade eventually and All Rounder isn't as good as Status Reels.
3 is mainly just golem flute.
4 is what I'll spend any extra mythril on, Lullaby Rod + Lulu Hairpin, I have Minerva and Blazefire but if you don't they are good. Once lightning hits 80 it helps to have access to Blazefire because her SSB is wind element, if you fight something immune you can fall back on her pretty good Blazefire SB.
Ugh, this mog selection banner is so bad that hurt my eyes...
I swear, i have 3/4 char specific relic: rydia, kain and wakka. Also, the selection by itself is a bit worse than original, but im more pissed about Stormlance Grimoire. I like my Tyro, and i really want that book, but in the other side, i could use another FFIX staff, Rinoa relic or Leena staff.
I guess i will just hold that banner till the last moment to see if i can get those items via another banner.
On a side note, Festive Fantasy exp given is frustrating.
But the cactuar pop rate, aparently, its quite high on + mode. In a full run, 60 staminas, got 3 greater orbs and one major. Little sample but it was a very well 60 staminas spent.
Wow that banner is bad, I'm sure the retaliate people are over the moon about Tyrfang but the rest of the relics...I don't even know if I want one.
I mean, having a SB on Rydia would be nice but I know that SB is pretty mediocre at best and having a mage throwing weapon is kinda shitty. Not to mention you might even just get more damage out of using the gauge on Witchcraft.
How good is Braver?
I already have Ninja Chainmail but if you don't it's not bad, the SB is AoE and usually does around 5000-6000 damage for me. It also has basically a guaranteed chance to slow anything that isn't completely resistant. The defensive stats are pretty good too.
Buster Sword is one of the oldest relic in this game (probably around 8 months old), so, it aged pretty bad. It was something back at lv50 cap with very little buff/debuff but nowaday, its utterly crap. Nowaday a relic to be even worth attention needs to has at least 2 effects combined (dmg+buff/dmg+debuff/cure+buff/buff+buff, etc) or to be multi hits with high multiplier each. Braver comes from a far away galaxy with just a single hit high dmg with nothing else. You can hit the dmg cap, but nowaday physical SB are expected to break that limit.

My physical damage SBs are super limited though, and clouds default one is basically worthless. It might be worth it just to have a worthwhile SB on one of the few level 80 characters.
Considering I only have a 5* weapon for Cloud/Tidus/Locke/Yuna, what would be the best chosen drop to get?
If you have Tyro at 65 I'd get the book. His SB can deal 40k dmg with Advance if properly geared, add that to reta-meta hitting at 8k a hit and he beats Cloud for reta-meta king.
Otherwise Tyfring is a good choice for realm synergy. It has good dmg and Luneth is a decent character.
Not sure what the NA release schedule is, but I highly recommend getting Ramza's sword relic. His SB "Cheer" gives party-wide haste and attack buff making it the best enhancing SB in the game for melee parties
Tyrfing would give you a useful RW but making Luneth a viable DD with it takes a LOT of time investment. However having a FF3 sword is nice.
Stormlance has potential but I don't really think it's as good as people have been hyping it up to be. Doing 40k with it requires high level, gear, and buffs. Tyro as a character is really bad. It's probably the theoretical best of this lot for an older player but for a newer player or a mid level player it won't be too useful.
The gun is good just because it's a gun, if you use Sazh as your support could get that.
Storm Staff is just a good blm staff that you might lack, the SB isn't spectacular though. You listed 3 of your 5*'s are melee, mage meta is the common mid-tier setup so having a few mage weapons is important.
Ninja chainmail has a good SB and has decent stats but has no realm synergy and is tied to a character you might not even have.
Started playing a few days ago under the suggestion from a linkshell mate. The game is definitely nostalgic, & I am having a blast. It's for iOS, and Android smartphones and tablets. Currently trying to complete these timed events.
Any one else loving the global release of this game? It's been out in Japan for some time. We finally get in on the goodies
