Arrow Burn..

So yeah.. Last night i go an invite to a party in Caedarva mire, and man was it good, the setup was PLD RDM RNG RNG RNG RNG.. @ level 65, i have never gotten so much exp, so fast that quick without a band, Chain #1 was giving us 438~

So yeah, i always see people, moaning about other players etc here, so i wanted to commend some for a change..

Also, is it just me or is it a good time to level ranger? Every party i have had so far in wajoom woodlands has had 2-3~ Rangers in it, i don't remember it being like that when i leveled my sam and warrior? Meh, i'm not complaining. ;)

Yeah, Vaik was an awesome PLD.

He did lose hate once or twice, but four sidewinders killed the mob so quick it couldn't so any real damage lol, But apart from that, he kept the hate really well.

That looks like a lot of fun. Makes me want to lvl RNG even more. =d

Skillchain was awesome cause after one the mob was basicly dead, we also managed to do a light skillchain with the pld a few times which was sweet, you should level ranger, it's a fun job :D

And I could put my WW craft to something useful too. >.>;;

I remember being in a rng party ages ago, before WoTG was released. It was in Kuftal and if I remember, the set up was Rdm (myself), Pld, Sam, Rng, Rng, Rng. I may be wrong about the Sam, though. We were fighting Ovinnik's. It was the first time I had ever seen chains over 5. Either way, yeah, Rng parties are sick.

Another burn party alternative I've seen in Caedarva was a Smn burn, but I'm sure people already know of those. I've been in a few and they're actually pretty fun and come very close to merit-party speed when it comes to experience gain.

I had a party a few weeks back that really suprised me. Was a DRG (4?) burn with one SAM with a riceball polearm build. I replaced one of the DRG as SAM about halfway through, and we made it to chain 371 at birds without a sweat. I didn't realise how much that piercing bonus really helps when you multiply it a few times over. (And props to our BRD, Hawk, who let me one-shot him after the party for a quick homepoint :P)

Im loving ranger at the moment. The damage i do is insane compare to my sam xD

Pricey kinda for me, but I can make do.

Find a friend with WW leveled, makes it alot cheaper :P

Actually in the long run I think I may just end up leveling WW before I do RNG.

Just wanting to get sam done so I can start doing some ISNMs more and other money making crap.

Arrow burns are really great. Lvl 55, pld rng rng/whm (back up heal) cor brd/nin (puller) brd/whm (main heal) was my first Arrow Burn. We had 3x rngs, but one had to go so we got a cor. Sidewinder doing 2k+ @ 55 is really really really sexy

Burn parties are always pretty awesome, I've been in 3 BLM burn parties and it's always amazing to kill a mob before it makes it back to camp.


I'm lvling RNG to sub for Corsair, but I feel so lost on it that I don't think I could take it very high. I feel like I should be doing something besides standing there hitting 'Ranged Attack'.

Damn young bloods. I remember ranger burn when sky was the place to be seen with ur bow and arrow. You *** have it way too easy now

PS. Why have a tank you just cheated yourself out of more xp. Tank is worthless in ranger burn.

5 rng and a healer

lol 4 rngs whm and brd in Garlaige Citadel back in 04-05 those were fun times.

I've done "arrow" burns with RNG RNG RNG COR BRD BLM (leech). The cor went /rng for dmg (yes some cors can actually buy bullets I'm still shocked). The blm went /whm obvious reasons and for stoneskin etc to help the brd (me) pull. On Colibri at the thickets we chained about 18 at lvl 62. There's my imput GL on arrow burns they are very fun and good exp!

RNG RNG RNG COR BRD any anything with cure at 75 = ownage on birds ;x

at 60 we did the same set up but RNG RNG COR BRD RNG RDM but killed birds too fast to keep chains going :( only time that's good is when no one is by the tower and by halvung entrance and you can own both camps

but everyone over runs any type of bird camp :(

Did one PLD, RDM, BRD, SAM/RNG x3 in Mire long long time ago. Was fun and crazy!
