Shock Squall Vs Chaotic Vs Volt

So, let's pretend for a minute you Astral conduit and Ramuh it up to chain stun some Delve Boss... Would you Shock Squall Spam for faster stuns, or Chaotic / Volt for extra dmg or does he resist it too much that's it is not worth doing?

Shock Squall as the Stun Effect is Purely Magical, thereby having more stun resist states to utilize before "resisting or full on missing" as a magical can't miss as such, just resist.

The Physical attacks with "en-Stun" like BLU mechanics only work a couple of times (you can push this with Pet Macc, but you are needing to land the attacks 100% of the physical, and pets are subject to 95% so that's 5% or 1 in 20 you miss) plus then factor in the en stun even procing, and only having 1 resist stats - land or full resists.

Stun spell has 4 states if that helps.

Long Story Short, if you are there to Stun, Focus on Stun, not Damage output.

Chaotic Strike's stun (and presumably Volt Strike as well) is pretty reliable, but I agree with Conagh. Even excluding the fact that the ready time is 1/3 as long for Squall, the chance of getting a complete miss/resist on Chaotic makes it just not worth it. Plus Squall has a little more range, meaning if the mob moves you won't get the out of range message. Similar with sp abilities like Invincible, Perfect Dodge, etc... Chaotic Strike is blocked by those.
