I like it so far, but I'm REALLY disappointed at how Enzio is sleeping around and street fighting one day, then the next he's automatically Altair. They didn't even bother to tell him the Assassin's Creed and he doesn't even have to sacrifice a finger for the hidden blade.
Playing a few different DS games recently, namely Soma bringer and Sands of Destruction. Both pretty great, though Soma isn't in english yet so a patch is required and Sands is somewhat of a letdown from what I expected.
Sands was done by quite a few, I believe 50, carryovers from the Xenogears team and actually resembles it quite a bit, but suffers from a few little annoyances, some of which I've only heard about and not experienced. Anyone else played or playing either of these?
Also finished Megaman ZX Advent last night which plays sort of like a new take on the MM X series, which parts upgrades being replaced by being able to switch out your entire Megaman body at will with copies of defeated enemies. Ninjer megaman and flyingmegamanwithsword are both a ton of fun to mess around on, as well as giantfuckingdinosaurbot. '3'
. . . ack, everything I tried in response could be contorted to dirty mom jokes if enough perversion is applied, so I'm sending Estelle Getty after your ***. I think she's dead, but she'll come through anyway. FLORIDIANS, you know.
Street Fighter IV (still...)
Blazblue
Marvel vs Capcom 2
Dante's Inferno
The wife's playing DA:O, bleugh. (hate Bioware personally)
Just ordered Darksiders on a whim.
Pre-ordered XIV, even though I know it's short, will suck and I'm still wanting to stab SE through the eye for signing Leona Lewis. QUIT WITH THE *** BALLADS ALREADY!
Just gotta Wii, dunno what to play! I still have to grab a classic controller and figure out a game to pray. Seems people aren't all that excited for Wii games, which makes me sad because I went Nintendo64kid all over this thing.
White Knight Chronicles and Tatsunoko vs. Capcom. The "it was gonna be an MMO" feel in WKC is slapping me in the face. (also downloaded Phantasy Star IV, good stuff there)
March is gonna be nuts though; FF13, Shin Megami Tensei: Strange Journey, God of War 3, Resonance of Fate etc.
Just smashed my 8th PS3 controller. Dropping 60 bucks every 3-4 days at Best Buy is starting to suck.
That bad? lol I had it for about 2 weeks and realized I was awful at 3-D fighters and exchanged it during a promotion for Bayonetta.

Been feeling the urge to dust off my SNES and break out A Link the the Past and The Illusion of Gaia. Those games are still the ***.
I know it's not the same, but running those through an SNES emulator with crazy filters and sharpened graphics is great. Sometimes it looks like play-doh smushed all over the screen, but sometimes it's badass.

Damn good time to play video games.
It seems like the last 4 months or so have been a really good time for games in general; previously I only had a 360 but that's kept me happy for awhile now and even more great stuff in the last month or so with a butt-ton more to come.
Phantasy Star IV was my favorite, I keep my Genesis emulator around specifically for that. lol
Also, Pixel Boarder for XBLA indie games is *** awesome(ly hard).
just finished dragon age:origins. great game. still playing call duty modern warfare 2. got metal gear solid 4 a year ago and just started playing it. also playing god of war on psp.
I've been playing a lot of Borderlands on PC and Left 4 dead 2 lately. I just finished Bioshock 2 recently.
I cant wait for FF13 to come out, I'm anxious to see if I'll enjoy it; FF12 bummed me out, don't get me wrong FF12 was a good RPG, it just didn't feel like a traditional Final Fantasy.
well ever since SE implmented their SKREW UHP visa secure code, havent been able to play ffxi so been playing Jade Dynasty instead =D, its free and imo better than FFXI XP.
Call them up and *** a little bit. Thats what I had to do and now it seems to be working okay. Still get billed every month.
BG had a similar thread which has been fun, so transplanting over hur. What games are you currently playing or played recently? FFXI does not count. lol I've been sucked into my DS lately more than anything so after finishing Super Robot Taisen/Endless Frontier (don't look at me like that) I started FFXII: Revenant Wings and having a lot of fun with that. Plays like an RTS and involves a lot of stylus use which I was turned off about at first, but has proved to actually be pretty breezy aside from picking out a unit in a crowd of 20 or so. lol Animation is beautiful and the style reminds me a lot of Tactics so it's all the more easy to love. :D
Needs more "I'm bored of the current topics" threads.
