Someone collected a bunch of weather data years ago and graphed it here

If you check the vanadiel time of year using /clock , and refer to the chart, you can see that the jungle is actually the best time of year around august.
Back when I unlocked smn ages ago i would zone between the 2 jungles every 5mins.
If its not during the summer months, just pop between the altepa zones instead.
Weather npc is also good to check too before you do a 2-3hr span of weather camping.

I know that it's rare, but why isn't Valkurm Dunes listed for fire? I thought perhaps because it was listed for Earth, but there are other zones listed twice like the jungles.

This was answered earlier on ~

FYI, light weather happens more often on Ru'Aun Gardens (sky) than in Qufim island.

And how many people you know who don't have sky access these days ?

Also the only weather that seems annoying to get is light, really.

Don't need light weather (or dark weather), just fire/water/earth/wind/ice/lightning and none (clear sky).

If available, the easy (if potentially time consuming) thing is to just rotate through teleports.

Also iirc Qufim Island doesn't count for getting weather for Summoner, tried lightning weather there back in the day.
