Enter the world of scrapping and electronic recycling.
I got this nice bed made with a sturdy steel (worthless) frame I don't need. You take and in return give me that broken electric lawnmower (the large magnet inside is the most valuable, plus the copper in the motor) and extension cord that's all cut up (copper). Deal.
