It's pretty slow for politics once people start announcing they are running thought it will pick up.

So what you're saying is that no one in government really cared that she used her personal email then?

I'm with you on her turning them over and even more so when I heard that her staff deleted about 5,000 emails that they deemed personal only in nature. Personally I don't know what the requirements were on her turning them over yet. Did she exceed the allowed amount of time? Was the state department calling for the correspondence and she was ignoring em?

However she hasn't only been criticized for not turning them over already. It's been a lot about her using it in the first place. They've even claim she has not only broken the state department rules by doing so but the law as well.

People knew about this on both sides for a long time and did nothing. So as much as I disagree with her using personal email for government work I'm not all that concerned with breaches.

Edit: If she broke a law though it should be pretty easy at this point to show what law she broke, how she broke it and then mete out the deserving punishment. I don't think anyone is denying that she didn't hand em over til right now.

For me the bigger issue is how do we know she turned over all of them? How can we hold any government official accountbale for only using their .gov account at all times for business. Whats to say any of them didn't send out an email over another account for whatever reason they might have? Do we have anything in place now to prevent that?

Nobody cared at the time, because there was no regulation at the time that requires government employees to use government only emails.

That regulation was passed in 2014.

Federal Records Act of 1950 (as amended in 1986) requires that she hand over all of her records from being Secretary of State in a timely fashion after leaving office to the record keeping part of the Secretary of State. Timely is the key term, and it could be argued that she failed to do so.

She broke Professional Code of Conduct and Ethics, but no laws for using her personal email instead of the government issued one.

At worse, her federal pension will be reduced. But no civil/criminal charges based on her usage of her personal email can be made, because the regulation requiring all government employees to use the government encrypted emails was in place when she was SOS.

Did nothing because they were expecting her to abide by the law of releasing the records. Gave her plenty of chances to do so too. Now it's too late.

Just like every priest in the world cannot be all good, every politician in Washington cannot be all bad. There's bound to be one good politician there.

Every administration on the planet is prohibited from changing anything the previous ones did? The voice of congress is intended to be just as strong as the voice of the president. If anything the GOP is doing Iran a favor by reminding them how easily things can change.

This event is a good example of people's partisan politics and vocal points.

Notice how people who state "This isn't an issue" would also state "Clinton deleted all of her emails to hide Benghazi!!!!!!11oneone" and people who state "Republicans in Congress are traitors to the crown President!!!!!!11oneone" also state "Clinton email thing is a non-issue"

If you don't have some measure of credibility and continuity with regards to agreements in international relations, then it isn't worth the time or effort to try to deal with you.
