Introducing Sparthy's WHEEL OF ATHEISM. (Patent Pending)
#1. The Ex-religious atheist. Most likely harmed/emotionally assaulted/fed up with religion. Comes from a very religious family, uses atheism to lash out against perceived wrongs. Driven very strongly by emotions.
#2. The Neckbeard. Watched some videos on the internet and is now a master of time and space atheism. Believes him/herself to be superior based on a limited introduction to philosophical ideas. Essentially the other side of the Youtube Jihadist.
#3. The Scientist. An individual who lives by logic and through career choice has arrived at atheism. May or may not give a ***about the philosophical implications of God but sees Science as the most reasonable means to obtain answers. Since God relies on faith, the antithesis of the scientific method, QED atheism.
#4 The Contrarian. Religious nutbags are in no short order so this individual has decided to buck the trend and become an atheist. Enjoys the fact that people hate him/her, has no real desire to discuss the philosophical underpinnings of atheism, indulges in large amounts of counter-culture movements, trolls theists and is most definitely a member of the church of Vegan.
#5 That guy who just literally finished Nietzsche. Can't stop saying God is dead or stringing together other bite-sized catchphrases from history that favor atheism. Believes himself to be in possession of rare knowledge though said works have been available for centuries. Has begun to grow out a beard and 'stache to inherit the powers of philosophy.
Most likely a hipster, enjoys a good dose of nihilism.
I'll take a #3 entree with a side order of #1.
By fonewear 2015-03-04 10:56:26
If I had the pick from the list it would be number 5. I do read Nietzsche.
I do find God is dead the most over used Nietzsche quote thought. If you read Human all to Human he has much better aphorisms.

It's been about three posts since a Hitler reference so here you go:
Well posted fonwaer. Notice how he never said constitutional republic which our nation in America was founded as. Even in Nazi Germany they knew America turned into a democracy which is not what our founders wanted. I encourage you all to look at the differences between a constitutional republic and a majority rule democracy. A constitutional republic is bound by its constitution. A majority rule democracy is not bound by the constitution. You know it's true no matter what kind of argument you attempt. With acts like the Patriot act and the ndaa that passed this year and ridiculous rulings the supreme court approved in campaign finance our freedoms slip through our fingers. We must restore our constitutional republic to reclaim our nation back. Stop voting for Republicans and Democrats. God bless you all have a nice day.

I think you just admitted to being firmly on the path to hipsterdom, if not being one already...

Drink craft beer. Check. I have a beard check. I'm pretty damn close to being a hipster. Read Philosophers and debate them with friends. Check.

Using her own private email address pretty much means any independent hacker with a brain could hack into them to see what she was talking about through them. The Pentagon, CIA, and FBI have all been effectively hacked. A .gov e-mail address is, if anything, a bigger target than a Gmail account that might belong to the Secretary of State.
Also, the rules don't require that the Secretary of State use her governmental e-mail address, just that all records of communication be retained. Which appears to be what has happened, it's just taking an extra step to collect the data.
People cannot use personal email to conduct government business and it's for more than just simple security concerns. All emails are available as record for government employees. Now when they use personal email it is basically on the honor system if/when they turn over emails. You cannot give a pass on this and insert your own excuse. Just ridiculous. I think government employees should all be on .gov accounts too. It still doesn't negate the fact that it's not common practice in the position and not against the rules or illegal as you stated earlier. Not sure where you got the whole taking foreign gifts thing from either but it wasn't from the article you presented.
There's a stark difference between trying to hold government employees accountable and updating rules/laws to uphold that and attempting to smear a politician for regularly accepted practices which no one has made all that big a deal about until maybe now.
“The practice of using personal email accounts raises potential security concerns,” Steven Aftergood, a government secrecy expert with the Federation of American Scientists, told The Daily Beast. “It would be surprising if Secretary Clinton never dealt with classified matters via email. Were her email messages secured in any way against interception or monitoring?”
Definitely a case for security concerns.
Also from the same article.
“Only she has a complete record, and the committee is now going to have to go to her and her attorneys and her email providers to ensure we have the access to everything the American people are entitled to know,”

In what is one of the most painfully hipster things you can say while trying to say you're not a hipster...
...I was drinking PBR before it was a hipster thing. But I have a very good reason. My college fraternity wasn't an "official" greek with the school, we had our own thing going on, 2/3 of our letters were made up, and they were: PBr.
So PBR was sort of a go-to when you were feeling spiritual, so to speak.
By fonewear 2015-03-04 11:09:43
I tried it out of curiosity it doesn't taste like much. Even if no hipster notion I wouldn't drink it.
I'll give it marks above Miller Bud Coors thought but that isn't saying much.

“Only she has a complete record, and the committee is now going to have to go to her and her attorneys and her email providers to ensure we have the access to everything the American people are entitled to know,” So is email in general
Quote: But Aftergood noted that no email system is entirely secure, and that even the State Department’s own unclassified system was hacked last year. “But at least government email receives some measure of dedicated security and counterintelligence attention. The email of the Secretary of State in intrinsically sensitive, even when it is not classified,” he said.
I personally don't like the idea more than anyone else that they're off the grid communications but at this point its just a lot of speculation.
As for getting the information is it what we're actually entitled to know or what the government deems that we're entitled to know?
If anything this will hopefuly lead to more scrutiny over the security of confidential communications.

I don't care for PBR much. It's okay when it's really cold. As it warms it has a cider-ish flavor that rapidly turns into a "I just threw up apples" flavor.
When it comes to cheap keg beer for house parties, Busch Light was always my favorite.
I actually find myself wondering if David Lynch and Dennis Hopper aren't the ones responsible for hipsters loving PBR.

Enjoying craft beer and a well-kempt beard are probably the only two redeeming factors of being a hipster.
It's the air of pretentiousness, yuppie-isms, cockbag supremo that typically ruins it.

i am honored you called me by my lord and saviors name by saying Jesus. I am not offended or ashamed of putting my personal faith in him, i just wish i could be as perfect as him. The way you say endlessly irritating this must of been how britain felt when the colonists were revolting for 8 years to be free from a empire. But fast forwarding since our last founding father died. Two political parties called republicans and democrats realized the revolutionary ideals are gone to defend the constitution which restricted government power and limited government in the peoples best interest. And so came about the silent usurping of our constitutional republic. Of which was never written in our history books because the lie is so deep which is rooted in these two majority/minority political parties that created a majority rule democracy.
You better believe i will not go away because i am not the only one who wishes to restore our constitutional republic. There are tens of millions possibly a hundred natural born constitutional citizens who do not like what this establishment has to offer.

The worship of the Founders is amazing here.
Even early American politics was rife with political slander, patronage, duels, butting heads and a question that wouldn't be answered until the Civil War. But if you were to believe this romantic view of early America you'd think everyone was living in bliss. Thr sweet Republic ruined by partisan politics and money.
You know, beside native massacres, slavery, disease, famine and lawlessness.
America isn't going back to the 'good old days'. Not as a global superpower exercising imperial powers. Not without going far down the rung. Isolationism? There goes your trade. Y'all ready for this? *insert music here*
But hey, if you want to recreate America circa 1785 I'm sure we can clear some land for the commune.
