Who said anything about gaming? This is about results. And I have delivered them time and time again. During my last interview I asked my HR rep if they know the tenets of duty, loyalty and honor and she told me no one ever associated our organization in that manner before.

If gil is worth 10 bucks a mil and you made 3 billion dollars in gil over 10 years, that's 3k a year over those 10 years. ...and it only took you 4 hours of playtime a day to do it. The pressure of leading a group to beat a computer enemy in a videogame is not the same as meeting the monthly goals for a company, an office, or what have you.
Sure if you get a lot into it it might stress you just as much, but that's all on your word alone, it's not real work, there are no concrete results. It doesn't matter much if you quelled internal conflicts, planned schedules and handled resources, cause it was all in the context of playing. But I guess I just have much more strict expectations as a boss. After I help my linkshell get a relic:
