I was looking for some political news today...hillary gets heckled.. Rick Santorum busts Ted Cruz's balls about the green eggs and ham thing.... and not being conservative enough... >.>

I didn't know rick was still running... way to get mentioned in the news... I guess.

I wish I was in on that strategy meeting ...and we can't attack trump without getting our *** handed back to us in a paper sack...

so let's go after cruz! he's not conservative enough! we need someone completely out of touch... like mittens romney...because that worked like gangbusters

I was listening to him talk today, and the bugger actually has a few decent ideas / talking points. I just wish these guys wouldn't pander to the religious crowd as far as social issues are concerned.

The poor are there to scare the middle class into showing up at work.

How about the tax cuts directly for the middle class and refundable tax credits for the poor?

President Barack Obama is mounting a final-year push to make gun control part of his legacy despite Republican opposition and is expected to announce unilateral action early this week.

He will join CNN's Anderson Cooper Thursday for an exclusive one-hour live town hall on gun control at George Mason University in Fairfax, Virginia, in hopes of mounting a final pitch to the public.

It's an issue he has had zero success on so far in his presidency, despite his repeated, emotional appeals for change. Congress has remained a roadblock even in the face of widespread public support for Obama's past calls for universal background checks or bolstered mental health support, with near uniform opposition from Republicans and a split on the issue among Democrats.

Obama will sit down with Cooper at 8 p.m. ET for the event, titled "Guns in America." (the good the bad and the deadly) The event's timing coincides with the fifth anniversary, next Friday, of the shooting of former Rep. Gabrielle Giffords, D-Arizona, in a rampage that left six dead and 13 others wounded.

In addition to discussing gun issues with Cooper, Obama will also take questions from the audience on the issue.

90% of the tax cuts proposed by the clown car's occupants are aimed at the 0.50% income bracket and higher. They seem to be quite concerned with income inequality. Not one of thinks there is enough income inequality today.

So, if you give me 30 tax proposals that only benefits the rich (good luck finding one), I'll give you 30 actual tax credits that benefits only the poor.

Normally I'd make a joke concerning a "piping in" sexual reference in regard to the celebrity in question but in this case she'd just upset me showing me pictures of sad puppies, so she gets no plumbing jokes.

It is beyond cruel the way Democrats want the poor to stay in their place; poor forever, uneducated, dependent on them with no opportunity to escape their situation.

Why, it's almost like I could say the exact same thing about the right and we're just arguing about how to fix a thing rather than if it's even a problem.

Obama's Gun Announcement


I gotta be honest. Facts like this always leave a bitter taste in my mouth, like we're all being played. It doesn't matter if guns are every actually restricted further, just if we feel like we have our gun freedoms, and if we can be twisted into a buying frenzy by fear of having them taken away.

Always make me wonder if the whole thing isn't some big game to keep the money flowing. Have the president or someone else influential talk a big game about cracking down on guns and have someone make a big deal about fighting it, and any time it happens, stock shares soar for gun manufacturers.
