I just tried for the first time on bst. It was a failed run but my next run should be an easy win. Arrogance incarnate is 5" around the target so you can attack max range without getting hit. I was hitting him at 4.5" without arrogance incarnate hitting me. It does around 1500-1900 on your pet. Be careful with your pets TP moves or you might get one shotted due to knockback. I subbed dnc thinking to stun banishga III. In hindsight it was a wrong choice. Banishga has a long cast time and you can run out of range. I should have subbed ninja for dominion slash. That move did around 800-1000 dmg to me aoe.

Witness my gimpness.

Someone's unloading Mulsums at 3k, so I just spammed a dozen or so and almost a stack of Theta. I was using Swooping Frenzy throughout, only at the last 12% did I notice how much more damage Plumage did, but I think the difference was made up on my Ruinators and white damage. I even ate four havoc spirals in a row while taking a nap, which was both random *** and me thinking 2 shadows was enough.

So yeah, even RoE gear over a pre-SoA BST can stomp VE mithra if you throw enough cash at it.

Round 2:

Way smoother, despite eating a havoc spiral right at the start because I'm a derp and didn't Utsu (but no RNG silliness of multiple in a row) and entering 13 minutes before Familiar and Unleash were up, lol, but that also got me to save Unleash for <25%. Only two mulsums used by 50%, six used total and a whole stack of Theta by rewarding at 45%. Managed to have the tiger on the other side of Ibuki, which put me out of Roar paralyze, so a big tip might be to get a little tug of hate at the start to not even have to deal with para.

So maybe my BST is better than I thought >.>

How long did it take? Congrats seƱorita
Time to bst duo or trio them on normal!

25 mins but that was because i was /dnc and had to run away to waltz or pop a vile elixir/use regen gearset to tic HP up.

Due to intervene you'll be doing most of the damage yourself. x.x

First run didn't go so well but I was still learning mechanics. The second I figured out arrogance incarnate could be avoided while still doing damage I knew killing him on easy would be possible. I Learnt it too late in the run unfortunately to make a difference.

I went with a modest accuracy set. Only about 840 acc and I was hitting him fine. Finished in 25 mins. I think I could have used more acc on my ruinator set as it was hitting on the low end.

Great job! I think I'm going to give this a go later today. The trick for standing outside the range of Arrogance Incarnate, but within melee range is invaluable to know.

Well done!

Sorry I've been quiet, been really really sick. (Grats on the mitts phunkism~)

I decided to try this out for you and used caringkiyamaro on the easiest of the AAs, MR. He took significantly higher damage, did significantly less damage. Rampage hit him for 1200+. Regular hits for almost 200. He in theory could down a VE MR but it'd probably take 30 dawn mulsums. And I didn't even get to the cloudsplitter spam so I have no idea how well he would take that.

Ibuki really is the way to go.

That's awesome, great work. What's your strategy? Do you just run in for a few hits and move back in order to avoid Light Blade?

My work in progress strategy for the fight is trying to take down his 100 - 50% hp as fast as possible. Pull him up on the ramp where you start the fight so he's facing the door. He's actually pretty tame by himself. The hate reset is really the only thing that makes this tough. Ideally you want to get his hp to 50% or less in about 7-8 mins. He normally spawns his first fetter around 45% for me. Just keep on running in and running out to avoid his dispelga and silenga as those will wipe your shadows.

Once 2 or 3 fetters are on the floor. Activate unleash. Molting plumage is a magic damage move so it does good dmg on the fetters. Around 1500 dmg a move. The fetters on VE seem like they have 5000 hp. This should clear all fetters on the ground unless your unlucky with vaporization, then you'll have an early kam clone on the floor. Seems like molting plummage is a wind type move so it doesn't do much damage on the vaporization fetter.

After unleash kam should be at around 30%. Continue with your hit and run strategy until he spawns more fetters and they'll eventually turn to clones. At this point when the first clone is on the floor he should be at around 20%-25%. When there are two kams on the floor I turn it into a pure pet fight. Kam does his TP moves at the same time so multiple great wheels will strip your shadows then do dmg to you.

This is the part I'm stuck at as it's a fight against time at this point. Do you risk timing out by playing it safe or do you risk getting 2+ great wheels in the face?

Take it with a grain of salt since I haven't won yet with this strategy.

I think I can already understand why you pull Kam to the ramp - it's to create a bottleneck (hopefully) ensuring that Molting Plumage hits all the Fetters as well? I'm only guessing that this is the reason for containing him there.

I've never purposely pulled him to the ramp before so I have to ask: Do the Fetters spawn on the ramp with him or are they fixed on the floor nearby?

How many Mulsums would you say is needed for this?

You got it. The fetters all spawn on this small area on the ramp so it ensures your cone aoe hits them all. As for resources you don't need any mulsums until 3+ kams are on the floor. At that point you'll need to supplement your rewards with mulsums inbetween.

Ah okay, nice. So by looking at your screenshot - did you die to running out of Mulsums with Reward recast timer still down? I'm tempted to give this a go later today.

That last fight was kind of messy since after one of his great wheels he chased after me and a fetter spawned on the ground floor so I had to move the fight. I had a few mulsums left but there were only 3 mins left on the clock so I just took some pictures and accepted my fate.

You don't need any or much acc for this fight other than sushi. I was mainly hitting them with my normal tp set for this fight and running off and switching to my pet set. If you have a pet pdt astolfo time to dust them off for the last part. It really helps with the multi light blades. Great wheels were doing around 50-60 dmg from each cam

I just recently redid my augments a few days ago. Originally I had the call beast augment on it. That and I have 10 sec recast reduction on my armada sollerets + merits I could recall my pet every 3 mins 45 seconds. Problem is, it's pretty easy to keep your pet alive these days. You're more likely to go down before your pet so I added the pet accuracy augment to it. I'll probably end up redo'ing my merit selection as well.

What did you go with besides Pet Accuracy? I have 1 Job Point in Pet Accuracy at the moment. I've been farming those every chance I get.
