Might try one more time on bst with a different pet. By a long shot maybe because the tulfaire is a flying pet he can move around terrain better and get to the tarus. If you could get your pet to stay on tenzen this fight would probably take less than 10 mins.
I think as long as Tenzen gets a higher initial damage output on your pet over the taru's, there shouldn't be flip-flopping. But once you first get aggro on Tenzen, the taru's are already casting on you while you spend 2+ seconds getting into position and/or pulling Tenzen to one of the far corners. At least that's how I'm picturing the scenario playing out.
I started off with unleash and the plan was to reposition to the corner after unleashed wore. After moving to the corner I could run away from the ga spells from the tarus. After unleash though, my pet just disappeared and tenzen turned yellow. I thought tenzen somehow one shotted my pet and started going after me. I then saw my pet was on the top ledge hitting the tarus. I called it back to me and moved to different corners and then right under the tarus but same thing happened. You don't even see your pet move it just dissapears and he's on the top ledge hitting the tarus while tenzen goes yellow.

Thank you, I appreciate your help.
Opening with Unleash is precisely what I was going to do next attempt. I'm glad I'm on the right track.
As for the link, I've looked at that already, but it didn't really tell me what I was hoping to know, particularly details like what you mentioned about Charm.
So MR'll only attempt to charm whoever has hate at the time? I was concerned she'd just charm a random player in the arena, regardless of enmity.
Charm isn't random. If you notice during an AAMR fight or DM II run, MR always charms the PLD. She doesn't stop what she's doing and run across the arena (or hallway) to Charm a RNG.
I tried VE AA MR last night and managed to beat her in 23 minutes - not bad considering I'm using the ilevel 117 eminant axe mainhand, Hunahpu offhand, a mix of 109 and 119 AF, 109 relic hands, delve earrings, and a few generic pieces of ACC+ gear.
The fight went relatively smoothly. I had occasional accuracy issues, and had to chug a few remedies throughout the fight, but that was to be expected. All in all, it was a win.
Now I need to give AA HM another try.

Grats on Ankusa Helm+1! This is random, but is that Gelai Earring you're using?

Messed around with AAMR on normal difficulty. After sushi I had about 1018 accuracy with a lot of room for improvemnt. Eyeballing, accuracy felt around 55-60%. Had her down to about 65-70 percent after 15 mins. Eventually warped out as I ran out of remedies. No problems keeping pet alive but I never saw her cloudspitter spam dmg. Even if my accuracy were capped I probably would have timed out. Definitely duoable with another bst though.

Cloudsplitter doesn't happen until lower hp percentage and it hits hard. Cloudsplitter WS (under 25%

He knows that - I think he was just commenting that he didn't have an opportunity to see how devastating it would be during a solo run. :)

Indeed, thats what I meant :)
I've been doing a lot of easy MR runs the past few days and got my time down to 16 min ish. Which is still faster than pup on VE. Only need about 3-4 mulsums and thats all for the cloudspitter phase. I went into normal with 25 mulsums just in case but never got a chance to use them.

I really want this Haubergeon, but I don't think it will be possible on BST alone. I'm thinking a BRD and SMN is needed as well.

I honestly haven't run Stellar Fulcrum II enough to warrant saying it's a myth, but it certainly hasn't dropped the few times I've done the BC. :D

That piece is definately on my must have list. It fits into so many gear sets. I haven't tried it on bst yet but I have tried a few times on pup. I think with bst it MIGHT be soloable. That's a big IF though. On all my runs with pup the furthest I've gotten is about 20% and thats when I ignored the fetters completely. The fetters eventually make a full clone and I get double light blade and end my run. Your pet should be able to take two full light blades and survive so you'll be able to zerg him down before a 3rd clone shows up and does a triple light blade attack.
Anyways that's me brainstorming and it doesn't take account on how the aoe hate reset move works with multiple clones up and if you can absorb them all with shadows etc.

We went with BST/NIN x2 and SMN on VE. Similar to your experience, everything went fine until the Fetters start showing up. I did get one-shot from Light Blade with blink up, so either they don't absorb that or I didn't have enough blinks to absorb it.
Also, we didn't have Scherzo and I had forgotten about SMN's EA, so perhaps things might have been different had we had those benefits.

Very easy Kali?
I'm shocked you didn't get haste from the fov before entering nerd!
I don't find it lasts long enough to be worthwhile :p
And yeah, wanted to do VE today, gotta farm more merits now x.x

I feel ya, trying to farm merits to solo tenzen war/Sam for fun lol
I'd like to hear about your experience. Are you going to take a BRD to sleep the taru's or do a full-fledged solo?

Edit: Yeah, you only get haste from GoV. Misread that. xD
I skip the haste, only lasts a few minutes.
I get reraise, regen, protect and shell. (for the unaware, pro/shell scale up based on level)

Reraise scales up as well right? Never tested it but assumed.
I'm guessing there's a cap to that then. Protect IV and Shell IV? I wonder if Reraise caps at III.

Just did AAGK on easy. I started off using the same accuracy set I use on easy MR but I would have timed out if I kept on using it. I noticed I was still hitting AAGK when I macroed in my pet pdt set so I switched to my middle acc set which as a lot more DA and TA on it. It has 919 accuracy on it and I think my accuracy was capped. So between 860 (acc on my pet pdt set) and 919 is the sweet spot. Finished the fight in just under 26 mins. 11 mulsums used and about 2 stacks of thetas.

I don't really have any sets posted anywhere, but what I use to solo VE AA GK, MR and HM:
Main: Izizeoksi
Sub: Anahara Tabar
Ammo: Hagneia Stone
Head: Ankusa Helm +1
Neck: Asperity Necklace
Ear1: Suppanomimi
Ear2: Brutal Earring
Body: Ankusa Jackcoat
Hands: Regimen Mittens
Ring1: Epona's Ring
Ring2: Oneiros Ring
Back: Pastoralists Mantle
Waist: Hurch'lan Sash
Legs: Ankusa Trousers
Feet: Whirlpool Greaves
Hope this helps some of your adventures <3
Edit: Got 8 chapter 9's today, so those legs will be +1 soon giving pet 25% haste :3 I'll +1 the body to give it 26% haste to make sure it's capped. lol
I've been somewhat obsessed with the idea of soloing/low-manning Ark Angels using my Beastmaster, but I wanted to ask if anyone has attempted to do this yet either solo or in a small group? If so, what was your experience like?
I duo'd Elvaan on VE with a SMN friend just to get an idea what the experience would be like. We won, but our overall completion time wasn't the best given the difficulty.
Any thoughts or ideas are appreciated.
