Just died to HM @2%. Went in with a stack of Theta and 6mulsum. HM does too much damage to Ibuki and I ran out of healing items. Had to recall Ibuki and HM when from 3 to 2% and blew up on me. Completely doable, now just to farm some merits!

Finally got an equipment drop from a VE fight today. Jumped up when I counted 5 things pop up in my text instead of the usual 4.
 I have 79 rem tales 8's in my inventory not including the ones I used to make my AF. So about 40+ AAMR fights to see an EQ drop.

Nice grats =) Not seen any posts about Galka solo - it's extremely easy. Used /NIN to absorb Dragonfall and macroed in Pet PDT when he 2hrs. Used one Dawn Mulsum and just over a stack of Pet food Theta.

Like a previous poster, I got Tabat/Mitts in Divine Might 2, normal or difficult difficulty. We know they can drop in VE at least. Even if the rate is god awful D: Messed up my HM run today, forgot he explodes 5% and under, not 10% >.< Also gonna save unleash for last 10% or so, since he spams utsusemi: san. 2 stacks of food and mulsims and the guys a joke.
Just attempted E Mithra, got it to 20% before timing out. I sorely underestimated it's evasion and ended up editing my gear set throughout the fight. A win is surely possible if a good accuracy set is used from the start.

Will be straight back in when I get more merits. Yea same deal for me went in then had to dig about to increase my accuracy , Pet was holding damage easy with no issues at all. Went around 60% and new i had no chance of win as i was timing it, Only let down is accuracy :/   Still no mask, will upload HM screens once I farm some merits. :<

Easy Mithra down.
   In order to not time out you need to pack as much accuracy as you can into your TP/WS sets. I used Sole Sushi and this set for TP: ItemSet 321861 I swapped in Snow Gorget and Belt only for WS. Offensively, AA MR (Easy) is rather pitiful until the last 20%ish when it will start to use Cloudsplitter. Reserve Dawn Mulsums for this stage of the fight and ensure that pet HP is kept as high as possible as she is able to Darkness skillchain using x2 Cloudsplitters - this does a fair amount of damage. Cloudsplitter was very consistent and did around 1200 damage every time. She started with the Mandragora pet which slowed me down a bit - dispose of him as soon as possible.

You were likely hovering around 80%ish.
I was inspired by your victory to do an Easy run as well, though it was a duo with a THF friend (so Feint and Conspirator boosted my accuracy%) and with 997 primary/948 auxiliary I still parsed only ~72% accuracy overall. Is level correction in effect in these battlefields? If not, she has ~1000 evasion. We finally got our hands on a Corsair in Minions LS on Shiva.
We just took down AA Taru on Normal (ppl still needed win for DMII access) with 2 PUP 2 BST 1 SMN 1 COR setup. Fight time 26:30 We're about to attempt Galka with the same setup. *edit* - Timed out at 32% on GK with the above setup. What didn't help was the SMN summoning too close to GK and pulling hate. He along with 1 PUP and 1 BST got rocked by Dragonfall. Minions LS Motto: It's only merits.

  Keep at it, BSTs :) (note my new mainhand axe Izizoeksi) <3 Easy Galka definitely possible. Timed out at 3%.

ItemSet 322052 This is the best set I can think of: ItemSet 322053 So there is still much room for improvement on my set. I left out Astolfo with 11% PDT since you're likely to fail the dps requirement on this fight if you use it. He does indeed deal a lot of heavy damage. You need to rid your inv. of everything that is not necessary for the fight and fill it with Dawn Mulsums. I'm not sure how many I brought with me on this attempt, I would guess around 15-20. I only swapped the Pet PDT set in when he 2hrs. You need to swap out of this set and into a decent TP set in order to win, or you're sure to time out. Yeah, totally. I can beat VE GK but he's a mega drain on mulsums. How much exactly does his WS damage/SC damage go up? I use the same strat to swap in PDT and DT stuff for when he 2HRs, find he still hits like a truck x.x
 I know I did it on SCH and not BST, but i wanted to assure you that weapons do occasionally drop on VE so keep at it fellow BSTs <3

We attempted the Stellar Fulcrum BC with BSTx2 and SMN. Everything went just fine until the Fetters started showing up. It didn't take long for things to spiral out of control after that. I'm wondering if that BC is soloable at all on BST, but I'd certainly be happy to hear that Celestial is (if possible). |
