The exact mentality that shows why the rest of the country is done with Texas. Well done. Aww, you are slipping.
We know you can come up with better insults than that.
Come on, lets cheer for you to make better insults, we can even give you a cookie when you succeed. Don't worry, we will still give you that cookie when you fail, can't afford to hurt your feelings now, can we?

I'm done with New Jersey (don't even live there) Jersey Shore plus you know whatever else they are famous for.

Newark was a horrible experience for me. Dallas also sucked.
However, out of all the airports I've been to, Paris Charles de gaulle is by far the worst. Prepare to lose your luggage there.

I believe the consensus is that he's ineligible, or at least that's what I've heard said by many political commentators.
The legal analysis I read is inconclusive, because 'natural born citizen' has never been decided by a court if it is based parentage (jus sanguinis), birthplace (jus soli), or both.
Even if he doesn't run for President this is a question that needs to be answered. A lot of children are born abroad to US parents.
Thats a fair point, I don't think the topic has ever been challenged on those grounds. Though, we know that natural born includes territories and protectorates after Obama.

Speaking of New Jersey you should probably watch the Sopranos.

I flew into O'hare once, and now advise all my friends fly into midway.
Looking into this bridgegate, if this former employee has actual evidence, he needs to bring it out for us to see, and they need to give him immunity if that's what it takes. And it better be more than a journal.

And from that horridly left wing rag, The Wall Street Journal:
New Jersey Gov. Christie Knew of Bridge Lane Closures, Attorney Says
Lawyer for Former Official Says Christie Knew of Closures on GWB While They Were Ongoing
Note: hh doesn't say in advance.
Quote: “Evidence exists…tying Mr. Christie to having knowledge of the lane closures, during the period when the lanes were closed, contrary to what the governor stated publicly,” said the attorney, Alan Zegas Quote: The Christie administration released a statement late Friday, asserting that Mr. Wildstein’s attorney’s letter “confirms what the governor has said all along—he had absolutely no prior knowledge of the lane closures before they happened and whatever Mr. Wildstein’s motivations were for closing them to begin with.”

Like I said, produce the evidence. 3 people have already taken the 5th, so offer immunity in return for the truth. No one is willing to go to jail over this, clearly.

And the story keeps changing....
January 9, 2014
Gov. Christie said: I don’t know what else to say except to tell them that I had no knowledge of this — of the planning, the execution or anything about it — and that I first found out about it after it was over.
January 31, 2014
Christie’s office said: Christie’s office says a letter from a former Port Authority official that suggests the governor knew more about the controversial lane closures than he originally admitted, merely “confirms what the governor has said all along.”
“Mr. Wildstein’s lawyer confirms what the governor has said all along – he had absolutely no prior knowledge of the lane closures before they happened.”

It gets better!
Quote: Mr. Christie had returned to a more public role this past week, spending Thursday and Friday making appearances on local sports-radio stations to speak about the Super Bowl. Hosts of the shows said that Mr. Christie agreed to be interviewed as long as he wasn't posed any questions about the bridge matter.

He should just blame a youtube video and wipe his hands clean of the issue. I mean "What difference does it make?" right?

The difference being that a group of terrorists attacked an embassy, this person died as the result of a stupid political ploy. Which is more important? Who cares, this one was completely avoidable.

It's not a matter of "importance." That's a pretty disgusting way to look at things.
Ambassadors to unstable countries are aware that there is a security risk beyond normal levels as a consequence of their status. If someone actually died as a result of the bridge thing, they died as collateral damage to a childish political stunt.

It wasn't a political ploy to deny the requests for support during the attack and to lie about it after?
However, I'm pretty sure King was kidding. Lightnen up. Are you amped up like 24/7 ready to explode on the first Conservative that opens their mouth? Chillax.

Yeah, enough Benghazi. We should focus more on putting Christie in the major headlines every time someone suggests he might have been involved in a planned traffic jam.

Yeah, enough Benghazi. We should focus more on putting Christie in the major headlines every time someone suggests he might have been involved in a planned traffic jam. Personally: I don't give a ***about Chris. But it's looking more and more to be an actual scandal, instead of a fabricated one.

But since you had to go there, lets go ahead and point out that 9/11/12 could have been prevented also. But lets just ignore that because it makes your horse look bad.

I didn't say anything about ignoring it, I said they are very different things. A different reaction could have saved a few lives, but the situation was initiated by terrorists, not a political opinion stunt.
On a side note, I actually like Christie, I don't condone his bullying tactics, but his common sense approach and conservative fiscal record were important.

Quote: Damn this traffic jam, how I hate to be late, it hurts my motor to go so slow.
Damn this traffic jam, time I get home my supper'll be cold, damn this traffic jam.
Well I left my job about 5 o'clock, it took fifteen minutes go three blocks,
Just in time to stand in line with a freeway looking like a parking lot.
Damn this traffic jam, how I hate to be late, it hurts my motor to go so slow.
Damn this traffic jam, time I get home my supper'll be cold, damn this traffic jam.
Now I almost had a heart attack, looking in my rear view mirror,
I saw myself the next car back, looking in the rear view mirror,
about to have a heart attack, I said,
damn this traffic jam, how I hate to be late, it hurts my motor to go so slow.
Damn this traffic jam, time I get home my supper'll be cold, damn this traffic jam.
Now when I die I don't want no coffin, I thought about it all too often.
Just strap me in behind the wheel and bury me with my automobile.
Damn this traffic jam, how I hate to be late, it hurts my motor to go so slow.
Damn this traffic jam, time I get home my supper'll be cold, damn this traffic jam. Damn.
Now I used to think that I was cool running around on fossil fuel,
Until I saw what I was doing was driving down the road to ruin.

I have read your posts and ignored them to this point but this one is truly pathetic. If you honestly believe having our embassy attacked, ambassador murdered, and the details of it misrepresented by the administration a fabricated scandal then someone must have took some rocks and fabricated your brain out of them.

Americans don't care about some foreign relations boondoggle that got some ambassador killed overseas in the Middle East of all places. The Middle East as far as we're concerned is a land where people spontaneously die, men wield curved blades against gunfire, ride on horses while shouting unintelligible babble and assist James Bond in dated Cold War flicks. Allahu Ackbar might as well be the slogan for suicide bombers.
Libya? Where's that? We've lost enough people in Iraq/Afghanistan that people are completely numb to it all. I remember when they used to show the faces of the dead daily, now it's just a footnote in some obscure local newspaper. Some young kids died yesterday? So... how about those Jets? Oh, oh! Justin Bieber shoved a paparazzo.
In contrast, a politician intentionally *** up traffic on the GWB, one of the most busy commuter hubs in the country over election politics? Scandal ***. And I'm not talking about the hit ABC series. Causing traffic jams directly affects people in ways that geopolitics does not. Bottom line is you *** with the people and engaged in the type of slimeball politics reserved for third-world nations.
Here in America we subscribe to refined politics. Like government shutdowns, sex scandals, social issues, drug use and underage hookers.
If you guys want to nail Obama, get him dead to rights cheating on his wife or getting a *** from an intern. Bonus points if the intern is a man. Until then, where in the world is Benghazi?

Or when a Republican governor is perceived to *** up a system it becomes news?
Because rampant fraud and such in the federal level doesn't matter and is a phony scandal, remember?
I guess we should talk about this:
http://www.cnn.com/2014/01/09/politics/chris-christie-bridge-primer/index.html?hpt=hp_t1
Aside from the obvious, which is that this kind of political payback is disgusting and wrong, I think that this scandal damages Chris Christie's 2016 chances. Over the next few days and weeks we should get a clearer picture of his actual involvement, so maybe I'm off-base and he'll escape unscathed.
Anyone else got thoughts on this whole debacle?
