It not only infuriates me that you used the term straw man but you don't even use it correctly is what makes it worse.

I put in the Snowden example for a reason. He was a no one on a forum that someone remembered many years later when he became famous/infamous. (I added a link to one article about this above). If you were running for president there is a likelyhood that someone(s) might remember you and your posts.

Since you've made the claim on another thread (no I don't remember which one and I'm not looking for it) that no one could find you because we don't know your name I wanted to point out that wasn't true. If someone is interested enough they can. If a person willingly puts themselves in the spotlight expect many past things (read: anything and everything) to come to light as that person becomes interesting/famous/infamous to a lot of people.

Obama was successfully able to coast to victory the first time around on a campaign that was at its core argumentum contra auctoritatem, but his victories were secured in the widening cultural rifts in American culture.
