Rifts now 900-1k on my server. ( carby ) HMP 140k lawl.. Square needs to do something.
I think you meant 900k-1M.
A month ago riftcinders were 2.5m+ and they've been falling rapidly. If HMP are 140k+ that likely means multiple people are actively building weapons.
Just hit 1433 heavy metal
Now I am getting people bashing Vere. Of course they don't have the *** weapon. But its making me think I should reconsider. I like monk. I like pupp. I could resell these plates for 200k as a set. Vere is badass one of a kind right? Vere 119 are certainly very good. Even without aftermath, they pretty much tie with Oatixur. With aftermath added, they're well ahead (~10%).
There's always somewhere else you could put the money, but you can just as easily say that about any other major investment -- that you could have made a Vere instead. If there's no specific reason you'd want to build another item (eg: Daur for brd, a specific relic or mythic, etc), then I'd just stick with your current path. Don't need to second-guess yourself. You can spend your whole game experience eeking out that last .02% DPS or do something you want to do

One of the three best weapons (and it's pretty close between the three) for the best DD job in the game right now? Seems like a no-brainer to me. People bashing Vere are probably salty Spharai owners. It's an excellent weapon.

Aside from dara, though, you can't really do much better than vere without going into mythic territory. Stick with Vere if its what you want. Ignore the haters and have fun!

I got it to 95 ^^
Now 19 more Rifts :) should be done Sunday. Pupp will out dps mnk on fodder I think? War sj? I have 3 cinders left to go. I have the money to buy them too. Just not willing to pay more than 1 mil per cinder. I've bought the past 40 for either 900k or 1 mil. The others I got for free from Morta.
Although when it's all said and done, I don't think I'll ever do another empyrean. If heavy metal plates every become easier to obtain, I'd love to get Daurdabla to 99, but otherwise, I don't think I'd have to patience to do another 1500 heavy metal. Took me 24 days to collect rifts and hmp. But I played like 6-9 hours a day.
