Wait an hour and find out. If nothing else, might give some insight as to how TH actually functions.
I think it means it no longer drop 4 chapters in the pool to reflect TH being effective (not sure how much sense that makes, unless TH can make it drop 1 more?)
In the jp version, there's no mention of difficulty on the first line,only in the red line. Which makes me think TH is effective for all difficulties. For anyone who's JP proficient here's the line: Quote: バトルフィールド「★アーク・ガーディアン1~5」「★神威」において、「トレジャーハンター」の効果が適用されるようになりました。 ※本調整にともない、「★アーク・ガーディアン1~5」の難易度「とてもむずかしい」でのみ、戦利品からアーティファクトの打ち直しに必要な特定のアイテムのドロップが1つ減少しています。 They added the synthesys material to skcnm.
As they are way easier than ark angels, also a lot more accessible (one orb per party), i think those materials will get bellow 500k soon. Soon, ark angels will be for gear farm only. And chapters. looking at the new armor icons... could they not recycle the f'ugly gear sets???

From the english notes, it sounds like SE added innate TH to the VD fights so you dont "need" to bring a thief to VD for TH effect. Who knows what tier of TH SE put though...
I really don't understand their reluctance to release armor people will actually care about chasing down.

This will relieve the congestion trying to enter AA. I wonder how many plutons you can pile spamming SKC20. If each of your 6 accounts has 2-3 chars with 300 SKC stockpile, knowing only one person requires an orb to enter, it can add up quickly. If you don't have skc though, too bad for you. Some of those bc take no more than 10 minutes to kill with melees and you never have congestion.
Too bad you can't win with THFs, only MNKs.

Good thing noone cares about rem's then
if you kill in 10 min counting travel and have unlimited crests, you only get 12 single/case per hour doing skc20 vd

reminds me of the other day when I was doing AA and I proposed a strategy and the monk says "That won't work"
Typical douche answer- Provide some thought behind your answer instead of- no1 cares about rem. Such an uneducated way to approach a thread. Of course this is ffxi. Large portion of the players are very anti-social and their way of communicating is quite pathetic.

So I did a VD SKC20 and got ***as usual, not even a craft mat dropped. lol @ SE and lol@ people thinking this will reduce congestion at AA. The final drops come from a chest so I doubt TH affects them either. 100 SKC for one mat anyone ? /fail.
Also the 2 new BCNM's drop seem complete garbage so that won't help for congestion. wah we went 0/1 on the drop, ***sucks, wah wah, gonna *** and moan in laloff instead
Yeah took me 10 minute to figure out why the update is HELP I AM TRAPPED IN 2006 PLEASE SEND A TIME MACHINE. SE's logic is that farming farming 20 merits on 6 chars = farming 20 skc on one char, totally forgetting that people can farm exp in a party aka 6 times faster than 20 skc. As a consequence they put the mat in the bc with a relatively low droprate (1/4 maybe ?).

let's just hope easye and VE can drop mats at a decent rate so that soloer have little reasons to do laloff.
