New Augment Results

Yep. There's a huge list of things you can't augment.

Well there are a few things I'm going to try in the near future. None of these are break the bank expensive and could use some buffs =) For the BLM items I'll definatly make sure I have a backup incase they get broken by the augments heh.

So far it seems only the weskit is a good augment for blm, mahatma slops with MaB+1 are "ok" but inferior to what I own atm. No p.rope with good augment has been reported yet. Same goes for igqira legs/head :(

2.7m Genie Weskit

Thats about 90 trys to get something better than Genie. I went 1/1 with +5INT so I think the chances are good that you won't be "wasting money" technically.

Well if you have sentimental values towards your items then nothing can be done to change that ^^. Personally I like going for the best economical value for my gear. I have multiple 75s and getting the best (Salvage, Kings/Einherjar, etc) for every job would be insane to try to accomplish.

Weskit is another story, we know since day 1 that it can get good augment. Don't use weskit as an example on how awesome augment can be, actually it's an exception (no risk at all (30K item), ubba reward (~2.5M+ item)).

I would aug some gear but I think it's BS we lose signatures in the process. I'm keeping my good gear the way it is for sake of honoring them and keeping their name. Hopefully SE will give us an update to patch this someday.

Or INT-2, or some other crap... Someone said earlier they got INT-2 on their Igqira Weskit... If I had money to blow on multiple Genies it would probably be more cost effective to just get Morgan's. I won't lie, Genie with INT+6 would be omfgwtfawesome though.

Genie with +6 INT, would be better substantially better than morrigan's I believe. We've discussed ways to equal/beat full morrigan's set previously, and I think it was decided that it's possible to equal it, but not beat it as it is. A Genie Weskit with +6 INT would mean that you can beat Full Morrigan's. The only other way to jump ahead would be with augmented Mahatma slops too I believe, but they're not exactly a cheap thing to risk either. However, anyone that has the sort of build that can match full morrigan's probably has money to burn anyway.

Well, if you can get a 5 hit build, that's where you have an argument, and that's the majority of the discussion of Hagun vs. Rindomaru.



To get a 5-hit build with a 450 delay weapon, you need 74 Store TP and you need to do it in a way that doesn't sacrifice too much of your other gear, Haste & Accuracy being the two people fear losing the most. That's one of the reasons a lot of people would recommend full usukane while attempting this setup.

With that being said, let's look at a potential 5-hit setup with Rindomaru.

+25 Store TP IV Samurai Level 70 Job Trait
+10 Merits 5/5 in Store TP
+13 Usukane body & feet (preferebly set for the Haste as well)
+5 Rajas Ring
+4 Rose Strap
+15 Rindomaru
+1 Brutal Earring
+1 Attila's Earring or Ecphoria Ring

+74

You could forgo the Rose Strap, Attilla's Earring and/or Ecphoria Ring if you ate Carbonara.

Remember Rindomaru has higher base damage than Hagun, but that doesn't mean Hagun's TP Bonus is worthless. It's still an incredible weapon.

There's different ways to go about this, and Rindomaru also makes a 6 hit build extremely easy without wearing garbage Hachiman gear or meriting Store TP. You only need 45 Store TP to get a 6 hit build with a 450 delay weapon.

So, it really depends how you go about it. If you set up a strong 19% Haste full Usukane 5-hit Rindomaru build, then it is definitely a weapon that can give Hagun a run for it's money.

There are other ways to get Store TP if you are missing some or all pieces of Usukane, although, you may sacrifice Haste & Accuracy to go any of those routes. You should be able to get to 74, though, even without a Rindomaru with Store TP +15
